This October, Modernista welcomes the autumn season bringing you back a schedule filled with amazing shows and lots of our long awaited mulled wine, hot chocolate and more incredible winter sips!
Starting with the Golden Week from October 1st to 7th, we have a sweet set up of performances that fits all kinds of musical flavour for you to enjoy with friends.

As we reopen for the holiday this Monday, there's no better way to keep the cold away that our hot LATIN NIGHT ON OCT 1ST. Come celebrate the beginning or the Golden week with live music, good friends and tasty mojitos! We believe there´s no better way of getting the holiday started but to dance along to the happy tunes of Savor Latino. Also remember that as this is a weekly event you have the opportunity to be a part of every monday!

On TUE 2ND we welcome THE MANTRAS to the stage as they use their own style and skills making good old jazz classics into something new and fresh.
Following, on WED 3RD THE GREAT BUFFALO BLUES will be hitting the stage with their fusion of funk and blues. So come and get your blues on.

As for THU 4TH, there´s no other way to enjoy the night but that one of THE ITALIAN WAY. Enjoy youself as this gathering of musicians with a sound infuenced by 1930s Swing and Italian traditional folk music recreating vivid images from famous italian movies like La Dolce Vita or the Godfather.

For the weekend we promise to let go of all constraints as the musical Death Bop experiment that is the SPICE CABINET visits us ON FRI 5TH presenting their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Spice show. Their Pop turned Jazz, Jazz turned bad or a mash of musical flavours that you can´t help but love. Meanwhile, on SAT 6TH the crazyness continues as SONS OF THUNDER will play handpicked hits after 2000 that screams nostalgia and that we can´t do anything but dance along to.

After so much party, we couldn't help but enjoy the smooth nightly jazz of VICTOR BASTIDAS QUARTET ON SUN 7TH to close the long Golden Week.
Also, the rest of the month, jazz will be happening as usual every Sunday with the SEE SAW QUARTET on SUN 14TH, NICOLA LANCEROTTI QUARTET on SUN 21ST, XING YI FAN QUARTET on SUN 28TH and on some occassional weekday jazz with always surprising Japanese drummer SEIGO ON THU 11TH and newcomer Italian singer SIMONA DE ROSA ON THU 18TH.
10月7日（周日）VICTOR BASTIDAS四重奏将以优雅的爵士之调来为黄金周画上句号。
更多爵士风潮，都在每周日爵士之夜相约！10月14日周日—— 由SEESAW四重奏，将钢琴、萨克斯、贝斯、鼓这些经典爵士乐组合演绎出新的生机。
另一个意大利爵士四重奏乐队——NICOLA LANCEROTTI将在10月21日周日再以传统爵士，自由即兴以及现代室内乐探索爵士四重奏的更多可能。
10月28日周日——邢一帆爵士四重奏，四名一流演奏家，四条爵士灵魂的共鸣， 待你来和。
除了以上每周日爵士之夜外，本月还有更多爵士加场。10月11日（周四），来自日本的爵士鼓手 SEIGO（冲绳音乐之旅）与10月18日（周四）来自意大利那不勒斯的西蒙娜德罗萨，让你过够爵士瘾！
As we reach mid month, we help out another great charity through the ANIMALS ASIA FUNDRAISING NIGHT ON FRI 12TH, with our friends from GIVING A BEAT presenting with two fantastic supporting bands ready to play for the cause, BANG BANG MARY & GREAT BUFFALO BLUES.
But make sure not to ware youself out too soon, as our favorite hutong market RUMBLE IN THE JUMBLE will be on from noon on SAT 13TH, and MADEMOISELLE & SON ORCHESTRE will take over the stage that same night.
10月12日（周五），摇滚乐队BANG BANG MARY 与融合疯克和布鲁斯元素的乐队GREAT BUFFALO BLUES将携手为亚洲动物基金献上一场慈善演出。
而热闹、自在、新奇的胡同百货市集将在10月13日（周六）下午火热开市！当晚还有吉卜赛爵士音乐风情的大小姐乐队带来的现场演出。
The following weekend we have eclectic alternative French artist DJANG SAN back to Modernista's stage on FRI 19TH, while the biggest party of the month is happening on SAT 20TH with another free wild show by TAVEY LEAN & THE SOLID GOLD DREAM MACHINE.
10月19日（周五），法国艺术家张思安将重返Modernista的舞台，带有中国风格的民谣，兼具摇滚、爵士、电子等其他乐风，他的魅力无人能挡！
10月20日（周五） TAVEY LEAN& THE SOLID GOLD DREAM MACHINE黄金梦之乐队将为大家带来本月最值得期待的狂欢大趴！主唱的魅力声线外加多只管乐和坚如磐石的节奏组乐器，充满力量的疯克之夜不可错过！
Finally, we close the month with the most exciting HALLOWEEN CELEBRATIONS, as we prepare to transform Modernista into STUDIO 54 for our special HALLOWEEN DISCO COSTUME PARTY on FRI 26TH with live music by Beijing's only disco band THE FLIP SIDE. The following day, SAT 27TH, we can't wait for the comeback of one of our favorite long standing, most explosive bands THE HUNTERS after a few months long break. They come back with new members, new songs, and lots of purple energy!
10月末当然少不了万圣节庆典！！10月26日（周五），北京目前唯一一支迪斯科现场乐队——The Flip Side 将为大家带来万圣节迪斯科化装舞会！一定要来看看七八十年代的大热迪斯科作品与万圣节的神秘疯狂将会碰撞出怎样的火花！
10月27日（周六），期待已久的THE HUNTERS亨特斯乐队将带着新的成员、新的作品万圣节回归！老派疯克、灵魂乐、经典摇滚与现代流行曲的力量，直击你心！
Right before Halloween, on THU 25TH, Bangalore based basist and electronic artist Sandeep Madavan will present its music and visual ambient performance for the first time at Modernista through THE BURNING DECK project.
Also, remember that both TUESDAY DRINK & DRAW and WEDNESDAY SWING NIGHT will be happening as usual on a weekly basis this month.
