MARCH EVENTS
The month of March is about to begin and we can sense the seasonal change as days are getting warmer and the trees of Beijing start to bud. As birds and artists alike are on their voyage back to the big city from the winter break, we at Modernista look forward to a month filled with everything from live music shows and daytime markets to drawing sessions and dance evenings.
March comes with many opportunities for creativity, inspiration and late night fiestas, so throw the winter coat aside and join us in welcoming the spring in Beijing 2019!
春节回来，生气勃勃，这个三月份，我们的现场音乐跟舞蹈课等各个活动陆续恢复正常，同学们久等了！
LIVE MUSIC / 现场音乐
As some of our favourite bands start to make their return journey to Beijing after a long winter break, we sense great opportunities for amazing weekend parties with everything from sparkling Disco evening to Irish rock on St Patrick's day!
ECLECTIC JAZZ
Follow the death bob path of the eclectic SPICE CABINET on SAT 30TH. Let them bring the spice of spring back to Modernista!

Take a chance on FRI 29TH as PEKING FLOYD invites all to join us for an evening of classic psychedelic rock.

JAZZ / 周爵士之夜
At Modernista we believe that a Sunday well spent brings a week of content. Therefore we have invited some amazing jazz musicians to make our March Sunday evenings a time for rest, revive and sweet jazz tunes!
31号有歌声美妙的西蒙娜意大利爵士之夜。
As the month comes to an end, we finish by inviting the lovely SIMONA DE ROSA to our stage, so let yourself get inspired as her soulful voice fills the rooms of the Modernista SUN 31ST.
DANCE COURSES
As the weather is getting warmer, we can feel the colour returning to our faces and the energy returning to our feet. Luckily Modernista in March means plenty opportunities to make use of them. Sign up for our new dance courses the first week of March!

If you're more inspired by the elegant and playful swing dancing of the 1930s, we suggest you sign up for our weekly Balboa dance course starting the first week of March on WED 6TH. Scan the QR code in the poster below to sign up for the course.

DRINK & DRAW
Let the spring inspire and join us on our weekly Tuesday art adventures. Wether it be Mary Poppins or Street Fighters, Origami Wonderland or Tarzan and Jane there is no telling where Drink&Draw might take us. Come join the fun, on Tuesday at 9PM, Free!
