Join us this Sunday evening for an intense performance by Victor Bastidas Jazz Trio. Joining him on stage is bassist Dan Callaghan and saxophonist Li Gaoyang. Bring a friend, have a cocktail and relax while listening to the vibrating sound of these talented musicians.

关于 VICTOR BASTIDAS
Victor Bastidas received a Bachelor in Music from Florida International University with a full scholarship from the music department, and performed with artists such as Michael Brecker, Paquito de Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, Ira Sullivan among many. He also graduated with honors from the Master of Music Program at the Northern Illinois University, with a full scholarship from the music department as well as a University Fellowship, and was part of the Rosebud scholars group at NIU. Victor Has played as a sideman with jazz artist such as Steve Cardenas, Vincent Gardner, Sherman Irby, Adam Larson, Samuel Torres, Reggie Thomas, Roy Assaf among many.

As the director composer and drummer of the De Paises Project Collective, he has recorded two albums in New York City, Guayaland and Canto Choco, and the latest record Tales of a Latin American Traveler recorded in Chicago.
作为De Paises组合的主作曲人和鼓手，他在纽约和芝加哥共出版过3张专辑，并且在许多国际音乐节上作为表演嘉宾。

Dan Callaghan isone of Ireland's finest double bass players. He graduated with an Honours BA inJazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre，Ireland in 2010. He has been working as a professionalmusician for the last seven years and has performed and recorded with many ofIreland's leading jazz musicians including Leopoldo Osio, Dig a Little Deeper,Guiliano Nistri, Mike Nielson, Hugh Buckley and Richie Buckley.
Dan has beenworking professionally in Beijing, China since early 2013 and has fast becomeone of the hardest working bassist in Beijing. His playing has brought him tomany cities in China including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xinjiang, Guangzhou andShenzhen with Chinese and international musicians such as trombonist RobinEubanks, singer Enrica Bacchia, pianist Alessandr Gilati, saxophonist HandsomeNat Gao, pianist Moreno Donadal.

LI GAOYANG
关于李高阳
Li Gaoyang was Born in Beijing, China. He is the most famous premier jazz saxophonist, educator and composer in China. He represents the highest standard of Jazz saxophone in China. The first asian saxophonist who played on “International Jazz Day All Star Global Concert”.
The first musician who was awarded as ‘Outstanding Chinese instrumentalist’ in the ‘Chinese Music Awards’. His style is Hard Bop, Post Bop, Model jazz and Fusion. … In recent years, he research and compose the fusion of Chinese musical elements, Chinese musical instruments with traditional jazz. The New album of this project called <China jazz> .
亚洲首位登上联合国“国际爵士乐日全球全明星音乐会”的萨克斯大师；中国首位登上联合国“国际爵士乐日全球全明星音乐会”的管乐器大师。
“华语金曲奖”首位“杰出华人演奏家奖”获得者。
“全球华语金曲奖”首位“最佳爵士乐曲奖”获得者。
中国顶尖级爵士萨克斯大师、教育家、作曲家，代表着中国爵士萨克斯面向国际的最高水准。
李高阳先生精通次中音、高音萨克斯、EWI电吹管等多种乐器。音乐风格横跨Hard Bop、Post Bop、Model、Free Jazz、Funk和Fusion，拥数百首不同风格以及多种国际音乐元素的原创作品。
近年来，李高阳与世界级爵士乐大师合作并举办巡演。曾受邀参加联合国“国际爵士乐日全球全明星音乐会”。曾受邀参加美国、丹麦、瑞典、爱沙尼亚、俄罗斯、马来西亚、台湾、香港、澳门等国家及地区的国际爵士音乐节，与世界顶级爵士音乐家合作演出。曾两次受邀代表国家出访美国及俄罗斯演出、交流。
李高阳先生结合个人的演奏经验和关于爵士乐的理论与见解，形成一套独特有效的教学方法，深受学生欢迎。他的很多学生来自国内高等音乐学府。李高阳被国内多所大学聘为名誉院长以及客座教授。
