JUNE EVENTS
Long, sunny days followed by summer farewell parties and chilled drinks after the sun falls. June is here for you to enjoy Beijing at its best before everyone heads for vacation or goes back home for good.
In Modernista we have filled our nights to entertain you with the best live music, from Italian folk to indie rock, jazz, soul and pop, Latin nights and swing dance evenings. Also don't forget our legendary Tuesday drink and drawing sessions!

六月盛夏，我们的活动也是盛况空前，每一天都有各种不一样的活动，每一天都有！
音乐演出风格横跨拉丁，爵士，摇滚，民谣，流行，骚灵，音乐家覆盖意大利，法国，拉美，东欧，新疆等，加上常规活动如周一的拉丁之夜，周二的前卫绘画工作室，周三的摇摆舞之夜，周日的爵士之夜，总有一款心头好！
NIKO DE LA FAYE
This month we invite bands that blend genres as well as various forms of expression. As they combine music, visuals and other artforms we invite you to opportunities for new musical experiences!
On THU 27TH we invite you to BCEHAAUOTSY, an evening of artistic experimentation born from the collaboration between French artist Niko De la Faye, musicians Dan Taylor, Joy Stuhr and Dan Rothwell, and dancer Emily Wong. Get ready to be surprised by the talent in motion of these five Beijing-based artists!

END OF SCHOOL PARTY
End of June means end of school, and for all the students who are released from their classrooms we celebrate on FRI 28TH shouting along to SONS OF THUNDER's cover of the best 90s indie rock. And, to get the party started, a SHOT HAPPY HOUR for students is happening all night long.
六月很多同学放暑假，28号周五，人气高企的The Sons of Thunder乐队隆重出场，一首首九十年代至今的欧美流行大热耳熟能详，全场狂欢大合唱！午夜开始十元短饮欢乐时光大特惠，不醉无归！
SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER
Get ready for an evening of Disco Fever!
On SAT 29TH we celebrate by moving to Beijing's only live disco band THE FLIP SIDE! Dance along to all time favorites like Kool & the Gang, Abba & Chic all night long.

On SUN 30TH, we close the month with classic jazz as favorite SHI YUJI JAZZ QUARTET visit back with its deeply touching saxophone melodies.
Bring a friend, have a cocktail and enjoy to their smooth and elegant jazz.

DANCE IN JUNE
及时跳舞
Cooling winds, cocktails and dance! As the temperatures continue to rise our dance evening's grows more vibrant than ever. Spin along with Cuban salsa every Monday or swing across the dance floor to 1930s Balboa on Wednesday nights.
EVERY MONDAY we indulge in Cuban salsa classes, mojito happy hour and Savor Latino live band! Meet new people and join our SALSA CLASSES taught by Cuban teacher Gustavo. Beginners class starts at 8.30 PM & Intermediate class at 7.30PM. From 10PM we practise our steps to the great sound of the best Latin band in the city, SAVOR LATINO, con V de Venezuela!
每周一的拉丁之夜，我们的萨萨舞课人气高企，型男导师Gustavo继续开班授课，7点半中级班，8点半初级班，详情请扫二维码。
当然，每周的萨萨舞课过后，真正来自拉美的拉丁味道乐队都会震撼登场，为我们带来全北京最狂野的拉丁舞会！
If it is vintage clothing and the elegant sounds of the 1930s America that you crave for, we invite you to join our Balboa Swing Dance evenings. EVERY WEDNESDAY in June we will be holding a BALBOA CRASH COURSE starting at 9PM, followed by a free to attend, lively social swing dance. No need for prior experience and no need to sign up in advance!
另外喜欢复古的摇摆舞爱好者请注意，每周三的摇摆舞之夜，9点至9点半，将会特设一堂零基础速成班（30元一节课），现场即席报名。9点半后摇摆舞舞会开始，随时欢迎参加与参观！
DRINK & DRAW
前卫绘画工作室
If the summer has brought you extra energy, we believe it is time to release your inner creative butterfly. DRINK & DRAW is a free weekly live drawing session hold EVERY TUESDAY at 9PM, with different themes, models for you to draw and music to match. Have a drink and come draw with us!
而在每周二的前卫绘画工作室，我们继续喝酒画画作乐，每周主题大不一样，现场提供纸笔，同学们自由发挥！
