This Thursday we invite you to BCEHAAUOTSY, an evening of artistic experimentation born from the collaboration between French artist Niko De la Faye, musicians Mister B, Joy Stuhr, Dan Rothwell, Jukka Ahonen, Huihan Lie and dancer Emily Wong. Get ready to be surprised by the talent in motion of these seven Beijing-based artists!

27号周四，法国艺术家尼克杜拉菲结合行为艺术，现场音乐与现场舞蹈，将为我们呈献一场跨媒介的艺术盛宴。

通过BCEHAAUOTSY，法国艺术家Niko de La Faye与他的艺术家朋友们一起合作，一同讲述一个故事，他收集了各种各样的想法和想法，并通过文字、音乐、照片、视频、雕塑、装置和舞蹈加以突出。这次演出也为他的新雕塑系列揭幕。

With BCEHAAUOTSY French artist Niko de La Faye collaborates with artists friends to tell a story gathering a wide range of ideas and thoughts that he highlights with words, music, photos, videos, sculptures, installations and dance. This performance is also the opportunity to unveil his new sculpture series.

尼克·杜拉菲是一位生活在北京的法国视觉艺术家。他的作品横跨雕塑作品，摄影，视频和表演。他的作品致力于创作有关于形状、几何与自然的构成，直接或间接地展示宇宙规律与自然的丰富的形式。他本能地创作，他的创造的作品基于与人的协作和接触以及他生活与工作的环境。

由尼克·杜拉菲已经在中国和国际上都展示过他的作品。

NIKODE LA FAYE is a French born Beijing based self-taught visual artist. He worksacross sculptural objects, photography, video and performance.  De La Faye’s work consists of makingcompositions of shapes, geometrical and natural, referring directly orindirectly to universal laws and Nature in various forms. He createsinstinctively and the foundations of his work lie in collaborations andencounters with people he meets and environments in which he finds himselfliving and working.

DeLa Faye has shown his work both nationally and internationally.

EMILY WONG

黄睿明,一位来自香港的舞者和舞蹈教师。

她是一位从英国皇家舞蹈学院畢业的專业导师。跟随着她对现代舞的兴趣，她在英国奇切斯特大学取得舞蹈表演的碩士学位，在欧洲跟着学校舞团巡演。

她喜欢舞蹈即兴，跟不同的艺术家合作，以及对探索身心学有关的专业和练习有兴趣。移到北京后，她分别在剧场和其他不同的空间演出，包括自己或跟别人合作的作品。当中很多是跟不同艺术家的即兴演出。

另外，她也有教导芭蕾，现代舞和接触即兴，并进行和身体运动有关的研究项目和工作坊。

Emily Wong is a performer and danceteacher from Hong Kong, currently working in Beijing.

She graduated from the Royal Academy ofDance in ballet education, and continued her dance performance study at theUniversity of Chichester in the UK, where she toured with the postgraduatecompany in Europe.

After moving to China, she had performedin theatres, galleries and outdoor spaces both in her own creation and workscreated with others, mainly in the field of contemporary dance, and otherimprovisational performances with artists from different disciplines.

With her interest in the somatic field,she is engaged in movement related research projects and workshops. As ateacher, she regularly teaches ballet, modern dance and contact improvisation.

JOY STUHR

乔伊·施图尔(美国威斯康星州)是一名职业音乐家和教师，曾在巴拿马、纽约、加纳和德国学习和表演。自2016年9月以来，她一直生活在北京。作为一名驾驭多种语言和多乐器的人(钢琴家、大提琴家、歌手和词曲作家)，她的音乐风格清晰地反映了她的生活经历，并独特的融合了古典与纽约的爵士乐和来自世界各地的声音。

Joy Stuhr (Wisconsin, USA) is aprofessional musician and teacher, who has taught and performed in Panama, NYC,Ghana, and Germany. She has been located in Beijing since September 2016. Whilebeing a multi-lingual, multi-instrumentalist (pianist, cellist, singer andsongwriter), her musical style clearly reflects her life experiences and hasbecome a unique blend that combines a classical upbringing with NYC jazz andsounds from around the world.

DANIEL ROTHWELL

丹尼尔·罗斯维尔与丹尼尔·泰勒一起合作，不仅只在与他们意识到他们共享同一个名字，而且他们同样地热爱着音乐，不管它是美丽的，还是野蛮的。他们的根源来自早些时候在北京挣扎的时刻（还记得modernista还只是前边小小一部分的时侯吗？）如今他们已经能够以The Harridans乐队之名以及其他的一些项目作为客座演出，并且两人通过音乐同时与彼此倾听与交流，越来越多的观众喜欢他们的音乐。

DanielRothwell's collaboration with Daniel Taylor not only when they realized theyshared a first name, but a passion for making music... be it beautiful, orbeastly. With roots in the early days of "Scratching Beijing"(remember when modernista was just one narrow strip?), later developing intoguest appearances with "The Harridans" and numerous other projects,the duo's ability to simultaneously listen and communicate with both eachother, and the audience through music continues to grow.

JUKKA AHONEN

Jukka is Finnish guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Besides playing in several groups he also composes music. In his works he likes to explore unusual rhythmic and harmonic textures. 

His musical influences comes from many different musics like contemporary classical music, minimalism, jazz, free jazz, krautrock, fusion, many world music traditions, punk, rock, hindustani, gamelan, to name a few. 

As a solo performer he relies heavily on improvisation: a composition in the moment. 

HUIHAN LIE

Huihan has studied drums at the Drummers' Collective in New York City and performed a wide range of music styles, from jazz and funk to folk, experimental, blues and rock, in Asia, Europe and Wester Africa.

MISTER B

Mr.B is a master of Djembe, Artist, and experienced social figure. He was born in Africa, and then immigrated to France. He spent many years traveling between Europe and Africa, in Ivory Coast, Kenya, France, Belgium, and South Africa, doing a lot of activities on cultural exchange. He has over 30 years of Djembe and painting accomplishments, and participated in various social activities, in France and South Africa have accumulated a certain degree of popularity and influence.
