This Tuesday’s Songwriter Series introduces Bai Niu in her Modernista debut, joined by Deng Qiushi on piano. Drawing from jazz, pop, and original songwriting, Bai Niu’s expressive vocals meet Qiu Shi’s refined, jazz-rooted touch. A night of conversation, connection, and music shared up close.
本周二的唱作人夜，我们迎来白妞在老摩的首次亮相，由老朋友邓秋实钢琴伴奏。白妞横跨爵士、流行与原创创作的声音，与邓秋实细腻而富有层次的钢琴相互呼应，在理性与情感之间自由流动。这是一场贴近彼此、也贴近音乐本身的夜晚。
ABOUT BAINIU
Bai Niu, singer and vocal teacher, has 15 years of teaching and performance experience. She specializes in Chinese and English pop songs, jazz, and original compositions. Since 2011, she has participated in TV programs and performed with bands at live houses and music festivals. In 2014, she founded the Joyful Energy Music Training School and has been teaching there ever since. She has hosted multiple large-scale music sharing events, and her cross-disciplinary activities that combine education and entertainment are well-loved by her students. Her teaching focuses on expressing emotions, returning to life, preserving historical classics, and fostering creativity and improvisation, while independently developing modern vocal courses suitable for different age groups.
白妞，歌手，声乐老师。15年教学演出经验。擅长中英文流行歌曲，爵士，原创。2011年开始参加电视台节目，跟随乐队参加livehouse，音乐节。曾在
央视音乐频道《一起音乐吧》、北京当代艺术馆女性艺术家年展开幕式、北京音乐厅、CDblues、江湖酒吧，兰溪酒吧等地演出。并担任电视台合作声乐指导，参与湖南卫视《乘风破浪的姐姐》、中央电视台《青春交响诗》等节目的合作。2014年创办悦能量音乐培训学校并参与教学至今。多次举办大型音乐分享会，寓教于乐的跨界活动深受学生喜欢。以抒发情感，回归生活为视角，传承历史经典，打开创造力即兴创作为目标，自主研发适合不同年龄层的现代音乐声乐课程。
ABOUT DENG QIUSHI
Deng Qiushi, pianist. Graduated from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. Studied under jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Michał Ciesielski, Italian classical and jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Moreno Donadel, and later learned jazz harmony theory, ensemble playing, and performance techniques from saxophonist Su Chang, jazz drummer Anthony Vanacore, pianist, composer, and arranger Pei Shizhen, among other jazz musicians. Currently, he is the pianist for the CMA Big Band and is active in various music performance scenes in Beijing.
邓秋实，钢琴手。毕业于北京现代音乐学院。师从爵士钢琴家、作曲家及编曲人Michał Ciesielski及意大利古典、爵士钢琴演奏家、作曲家及编曲家Moreno Donadel，后跟随萨克斯演奏家粟畅，爵士鼓音乐家Anthony Vanacore，钢琴家、作曲家及编曲家裴世珍女士以及等爵士乐音乐家学习爵士和声理论、合奏及演奏技巧等，现为CMA大乐队钢琴手，活跃于北京各类型音乐演出现场。
