Victor Bastidas

 Drums 鼓

Victor Bastidas received a Bachelor in Music from Florida International University with a full scholarship from the music department, and performed with artists such as Michael Brecker, Paquito de Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, Ira Sullivan among many. He also graduated with honors from the Master of Music Program at the Northern Illinois University, with a full scholarship from the music department as well as a University Fellowship, and was part of the Rosebud scholars group at NIU. Victor Has played as a sideman with jazz artist such as Steve Cardenas, Vincent Gardner, Sherman Irby, Adam Larson, Samuel Torres, Reggie Thomas, Roy Assaf, Luques Curtis, Sam Barsh among many.

Victor Bastidas 获得了佛罗里达国际大学音乐系音乐学士学位并获得全额奖学金，他与 Michael Brecker、Paquito de Rivera、Arturo Sandoval、Ira Sullivan 等艺术家合作演出。还以优异的成绩毕业于北伊利诺伊大学音乐硕士项目，获得音乐系全额奖学金和大学奖学金，并在 NIU 参加了 Rosebud 学术小组。Victor 曾为 Steve Cardenas, Vincent Gardner, Sherman Irby, Adam Larson, Samuel Torres, Reggie Thomas, Roy Assaf, Luques Curtis, Sam Barsh 等多位爵士乐手伴奏。

As the director composer and drummer of the De Paises Project Collective, he has recorded two albums in New York City, Guayal and and Canto Choco, and the latest record Tales of a Latino American Traveler recorded in Chicago, and has performed as guest at International festivals such as FIA 2014 in Costa Rica, Jazz al Parque in Bogota Colombia 2012, Cu Jazz Festival in Urbana IL US, 2017, Beijing Jazz Festival 2018, Sam Barsh trio at Xian Music Festival China 2018,  Villavicensio Jazz Festival 2016, University of Iowa auditorium with the Adam Larson trio, University of  Iowa with the Dan Moore Trio, Birch Creek Camp with the Reggie Thomas Group, New York winter Jazz Fest with the Edmar Castaneda world Ensemble, 2016 La Nacional Spanish cultural Center New York with De Paises Project, Air Train Festival NY with Alon Nechustahan Quartet, Brooklyn School of Music Festival with De Paises Project, as well as multiple venues with Chicagos premier brass band, Four Star; Two CD releases at the Gibson showroom in Miami, The Arturo Sandoval Jazz club in Miami, National Museum of Colombia in Bogota Colombia, Antigua Aduana in Costa Rica, Some venues in Beijing China, and the "Promising Artists of the 21 st century Program" in South America among many.

From 2013 to 2017 Victor lived in Chicago performing regularly with De Paises Project, The Chicago Collective, the Adam Larson quartet, and the Reggie Thomas group.

He Currently Teaches at The Contemporary Music Academy of Bejing in China where he performs regularly with the local and international artists coming through China.  Victor also performed at the season finale of The Rap of China season 2 with Artist Chris Wu, and was recently guest with the Colombia Big Band in Bogota Colombia at Café and Libro Gallery showcase.

目前，他在北京当代音乐学院任教，定期与来自中国本地艺术家以及国际艺术家一起演出。Victor 还和吴亦凡一起参加了《中国有嘻哈》第二季最后一集的演出，最近还在 Bogota Colombia 担任 the Colombia Big Band 在的 Cafe 和 Libro Gallery showcase 的嘉宾。

David Diao 刁塑

Saxophone 萨克斯

Originally from Beijing-China, David immigrated to Canada in 2001. David Diao Su is a musician, film music-composer, producer and bandleader with a creative, versatile, dynamic sound. David completed his bachelor’s degree with academic honours achievement in music performance & production at Humber Music Institute and is an Elizabeth Memorial Award winner. He has studied under Juno award winning musicians like Pat Labarbera, Kirk Macdonald and Robi Botos, and producers like Peter Cook, a 3 time Gemini award winner for best sound and has over 21 Juno award affiliations. David has shared the performance stage, toured and recorded albums with Grammy Award winning jazz artists like Joe Lovano and Donny Mccaslin, and Juno Award winning musicians like Hillario Duran. David has led his own band for many years, and held a bi-weekly residency at Poetry Jazz Café for 5 years in Toronto with his own group, and has be featured in music festivals regularly in Toronto and around the world. In 2017, David along with his quartet toured through six cities in China as a part of the 2017 MIDI Music Tour. 

David has produced and collaborated on 11 albums, including: his debut album as lead artist & Producer Precious Days珍贵日 in 2016 which was rated 5 stars on Apple Music. In 2016. His collaborated album “Disaster” with Alex Ernewein as producer, was featured on Canada’s NOW Magazine with 4 stars rating. David collaborated on the album “Like You Do” with Megan Delima and legendary producer Bob Ezrin; who has produced over 100 top albums and is a Canadian Music Hall of fame inductee.

David was profiled as an emerging artist in a Canadian national TV network TVO documentary titled "First Notes" featuring his music and his life, which was listed in the Top Ten TVO Short Documentaries of 2017.  In 2018, David scored music for short film “Out Loud” directed by Marina Pyak, and was featured at the Canadian short film festival and won an “Accommodation Award” for its excellence.

David 刁塑（加拿大），是一个有创造力、多才多艺和充满活力的音乐家。“隔岸音乐“工作室联合创始人。David生于北京，幼年全家移民加拿大，并继续在加拿大学习深造音乐。他毕业于爵士音乐加拿大排名第一的Humber College，师从加拿大国宝级音乐巨匠Pat Larbarbera ，求学期间和美国爵士乐大师Joe Lovano, 获格莱美提名的Donny McCaslin和古巴著名音乐人Hillario Duran等音乐巨头同台演出和创作。David在多伦多的Poetry Jazz Cafe咖啡馆驻场演出，也在Rex,Bistro等著名的演出场所，和多伦多的音乐节上定期演出。加拿大纪录片频道TVO为他制作了一部名为“第一音符”的片子，专门记录他的音乐创作生活，这部纪录片也进入了2017年TVO简短记录片竞赛的决赛阶段。David在2016年发行了他的第一张个人爵士乐创作专辑《Precious Days珍贵日》，承担全部创作，编曲，带领一批年轻音乐人完成演奏，制作。同时他也参与多张独立音乐专辑制作。2017年，David带领他的四重奏，担任迷笛音乐学校特邀外籍专家，参加在扬州，苏州，大连等巡演和现代音乐教学。2018年，独立编曲电影《OUT LOUD》获得加拿大国际短片电影节COMMENDATION奖。回到出生的地方北京，David期待和更多有才华的华裔音乐家碰撞出火花。

Bass 贝斯

Dan Zylinski (USA) recently returned from a hugely successful, sold out 6 day, 5 city, China tour with Grammy-nominated US Jazz sensation Alex Han (Marcus Miller). Affiliated to a recent CMA award-winning album (SiQinGeRenLe), he is also the bassist for Hong Kong artist Khalil Fong 'SoulBoy' 方大同 and has performed to sold out audiences of 10000+ playing for Khalil as well as being the featured bassist for several other well-known stars of the Asian music scene from soul to pop to Mongolian folk: appearing with rising China star of The Voice and Grammy-sponsored TV show (Tia Ray/Yuan Yawei/ 袁娅维), and China folk legend SiQinGeRenLe 斯琴格日乐.

Dan Zylinski 结束了与曾获格莱美提名的美国爵士乐演奏家 Alex Han (Marcus Miller) 长达6天，横跨5大城市的中国巡演。他曾获CMA专辑奖 (SiQinGeRenLe)，也是香港艺人 Khalil Fong 'SoulBoy' 方大同的贝斯手，同时也是亚洲音乐界的其他著名明星的贝斯手，从灵魂到流行再到蒙古民乐，与中国好声音的新声力量袁娅维和中国民乐传奇人物斯琴格日乐都有过合作经历。

北京最重要的爵士次中音萨克斯手，同时也涉及作曲、编曲。刘晓光是个多才多艺的音乐家，曾是腾格尔“苍狼”乐队中的键盘手。小娟&山谷里的居民乐队的口琴和长笛手。阿Q爵士乐队的萨克斯手。在北京十多年的现场演出中积累大量演出经验，曾经执教于北京现代音乐学院萨克斯讲师。参加的乐队和合作过的爵士音乐家包括：“闪鼓派”乐队、“北京城市爵士大乐队”、“摩登泡泡乐队”、“北京森霖爵士大乐队”、“Beijing Blue Note Jazz Big Band”、“五香冯克乐队”、“HaYa乐队”、顾忠山、“红节奏Funk乐队”、高太行、夏佳、文志勇、刘玥、贝贝、莫瑞龙、张柯、大淮、小豆、梁颖、李小川、张雄关、古贺泉、RoyalHartigan  David Bindman Art Hirahara 、Billy kilson、Wes Brown 、CHRISTOPHE  LIER、Jaleel Shaw、Conrad herwig、DOMINIC  BAUTISTA 等。
