OCTOBER EVENTS
As temperatures drop and the leaves are starting to alter, fall begins to make itself felt in the capital, bringing along new faces and, of course, new chances to check Beijing’s vibrant live music scene. In October, Modernista invites you to fun weekend parties and jazz soirées filled with new music projects and album releases, along with our weekly artsy Tuesdays, Latin nights and lively Swing dance evenings!

十一我们放假一周，节后回来，我们编排更为紧密，除了原有的活动，多个新乐队新专辑新活动将相继亮相，狂欢继续！
HALLOWEEN PARTIES
万圣节狂欢周
Finally, it's again that time of the year when it's ok to dress like you want to... Always wanted to wear a giant banana suit outdoors? Is your alter ego Edward Scissorhands? A horse? Want to go classic with a Rococco wig and all? Never mind! Release your inner monster and take it out for a drink. In Modernista, we've made sure there are plenty of opportunities for celebrating Halloween!
每年Modernista的万圣节狂欢都盛况空前，今年的万圣节狂欢周又来了！
Starting on TUE 29TH, the devils of long missed indie-rock band ZHEGE and the ever-daring HUGH REED will turn the volume up on our weekly Drink & Draw session. Drinkers, drawers and monsters, all are welcome as our very colorful musicians play and freeze for you. And probably you’ll also have to show your feet, warned you already.
Meanwhile, on THU 31TH we get our grand HALLOWEEN weekend started with new favorite band THE KOOLZ's deadly pop sound, and the festivities continue into the new month with Flip Side and The Hunters joining our Halloween celebrations on Friday Nov 1st and Saturday Nov 2nd.
29号的周二画画作乐之夜，这是一场万圣节特别版！魔鬼上身的Hugh Reed与“这个”乐队恐怖登场，这是一个不寻常的画画之夜！
31号的周四万圣节，The Koolz流行乐队化身哇鬼，空群而出，全场惊吓！
紧接1号2号的周五周六，万圣节狂欢不停，Flip Side与亨特斯乐队将会相继出场，一连三晚，百鬼夜游，为全场的装扮提前打Call！
JAZZ EVENINGS
爵士十月

In October, the local Jazz scene vibrates with creativity and in Modernista, we make space for new sounds and international jazz talents!
这个十月份，Modernista的爵士之夜非常精彩，多位外国到访的爵士大师与常驻本地的爵士好手济济一堂，绝对是城里爵士迷的宝地！
On SUN 27TH, we also have a chance to listen to compositions from from Japanese avant-garde drummer TAKESHI SAKAMOTO's new album, MUGEN.
首先节后的第一个周日爵士之夜，
13号的周日，我们迎来韩国爵士钢琴家裴世珍的爵士四重奏，同唱亦是这位女钢琴家的全新爵士专辑“DIRECTION''的首发。
27号周日，我们有另一位爵士好手坂本武的新专辑“MUGEN”首发，这位先锋爵士鼓手将带领他的爵士四重奏梦幻登场。

"Take more chances and dance more dances"
A new fall semester is about to begin and with it comes opportunities for learning something new, meeting new people and dancing. Get moving with some Afro rhythms, spin along with Cuban salsa every Monday or swing across the dance floor to 1930s Balboa on Wednesday nights.
If it is vintage clothing and the elegant sounds of the 1930s America that you crave for, we invite you to join our weekly Balboa Swing Dance evenings, EVERY WEDNESDAY!
In October we make our Swing Dance Night's extra special by arranging a BALBOA FREE TRIAL CLASS for beginners on WED 9TH followed by live music by NOAH HOCKER SWING QUARTET, who will also play for us on WED 23RD. On WED 16TH, we start our WEEKLY BALBOA CRASH COURSE for beginners, bring you favourite skirt, best shirt and join in on some 1930s fun!
另外喜欢复古的摇摆舞爱好者请注意，每周三的摇摆舞之夜，这个月编排紧密！
首先，9号周三，将举办一场巴尔博亚摇摆舞的免费体验课，机会可一不可再！
而由16号开始，每个周三的摇摆舞之夜，9点至9点半，将会特设一堂零基础速成班（30元一节课），现场即席报名。9点半后摇摆舞舞会开始，随时欢迎参加或参观！
特别注意，
9号，23号，两个周三，Noah Hocker摇摆四重奏隆重登场，摇摆舞狂欢舞会更精彩！
总之每周三摇摆舞之夜，都是一场复古华丽的狂欢，欢迎参加或参观！
Also EVERY MONDAY we indulge in Cuban salsa classes, mojito happy hour and Savor Latino live band! Meet new people and join our weekly SALSA CLASSES taught by Cuban teacher Gustavo. Beginners class starts at 8.30 PM & Intermediate class at 7.30PM. From 10PM we practise our steps to the great sound of the best Latin band in the city, SAVOR LATINO, con V de Venezuela!
每周一的拉丁之夜，我们的萨萨舞课人气高企，型男导师Gustavo继续开班授课，7点半中级班，8点半初级班，详情请扫二维码。
当然，每周的萨萨舞课过后，真正来自拉美的拉丁味道乐队都会震撼登场，为我们带来全北京最狂野的拉丁舞会！
