In the cold of Beijing's winter, we are still looking forward to delicious dinner parties, cozy Christmas performances, a Cotton Club fashioned New Year's Eve Party, farewells, wild weekend dancing, soothing jazz soirées and drawing nights.

Have you started humming along to carols and do you feel uplifted by the mere thought of Christmas? Thinking already about your dinner preparations for the special dates? Join us for a magnificient Christmas dinner either on 24th or 25th, or just come for a little fun as our musicians fill up Modernista with some Christmas inspired tunes!
On TUE 24TH & WED 25TH, we welcome you to join us for a rich Christmas dinner to be shared among friends along with an after dinner show. On Christmas Eve, dinner is followed by our fun loving friends THE MANTRAS, with wonderful vocalist Kim taking the lead. On Christmas Day, we relax instead in the company of SCHIRRU-GAO JAZZ QUARTET, as we listen to the exquisite jazz tunes composed by Italian guitarist Simone Schirru and American saxophone player Nathaniel Gao.
【12月24日周二】平安夜，The Mantras乐队为我们带来一个浪漫的圣诞爵士夜！与亲密的人一同沉醉在动人心魄的爵士旋律之中。
紧接着【25号周三】圣诞节，特别加演Schirru-Gao圣诞爵士四重奏，一起沉浸在浓厚的圣诞氛围之中！

On TUE 31ST, it's time for us to say our goodbyes to 2019 and welcome 2020! Let's celebrate the start of a new decade dancing to one of our favorite bands, STEVIE MAC & THE MAC DADDIES, in a vintage flashback to Harlem's 1920s wild nights at The Cotton Club. Get your bow ties and dresses ready, buy your presale tickets now, and let's party in 2020 like it's 1920s!

A group that never fails to deliver and whose explosive funky show takes our weekend parties to a whole new level of fun! On SAT 21ST, THE HUNTERS will bring us their groove one more time, but make sure to put in some extra energy to the dance floor as it is the last show of The Hunters as we know them. Their beloved lead singer KC is leaving China for good, and the hunt will, again, never be the same. Let's give KC a proper farewell by dancing till' dawn!

As another long and cold winter hits the city, do not despair. We have gathered amazing musicians from all corners of the world to help us remember what that tropical heat feels like, and to wish us a warm 2020!
On THU 26TH, newcomer SHARON ZHOU welcomes us to yet another side of Brazilian music for an evening of jazz and beautiful bossa nova sounds. The musical heat continues to radiate from our stage all throughout December. On FRI 27TH, we're in for an authentic BLACK GOLD party with their warm and colorful classic African sounds. Last but not least, on SAT 28TH we enjoy one more time a fun show by LATIN ROCKERS, playing for us the very best of Soda Stereo, Hombres G and other rock favorites!

On SUN 22ND, we reach the second half of December, and so, we welcome for the very first time vocalist LILITH LIU, accompanied by Takeshi Sakamoto on drums, Sharon Zhou on keyboard and Ryan Bradetich on bass.
【15号周日】哥伦比亚爵士好手Victor Bastidas爵士团为我们献上原创的爵士声音。
【22号周日】我们迎来全新登场的一颗爵士界新星，Lilith Liu呈献女声爵士四重奏，绝对期待！
Finally, on SUN 29TH, we close the Sunday Jazz Series of 2019 with some exquisite jazz standards played by saxophone player SHI YUJI and his trio, to remind us of all the amazing jazz nights we enjoyed in 2019 and opening for more coming jazz shows in the new year!

December is about to begin and with it comes opportunities for learning something new, meeting new people and dancing. Spin along with Cuban salsa every Monday or swing across the dance floor to 1930s swing music Wednesday evenings!
If it is vintage clothing and the elegant sounds of the 1930s America that you crave for, we invite you to join our weekly Balboa Swing Dance evenings, EVERY WEDNESDAY.
喜欢复古的摇摆舞爱好者请注意，每周三的摇摆舞之夜，这个月编排紧密！
总之每周三摇摆舞之夜，都是一场复古华丽的狂欢，欢迎参加或参观！
Also, EVERY MONDAY we indulge in Cuban salsa classes, mojito happy hour and Savor Latino live band!
Meet new people and join our weekly SALSA CLASSES taught by Cuban teacher Gustavo. Beginners class starts at 8.30 PM & Intermediate at 7.30 PM.
From 10 PM, we practise our steps to the great sound of the best Latin band in the city, SAVOR LATINO con V de Venezuela!

The event we are definitely most proud of, our beautiful Drink & Draw keeps growing as time goes by. A real source of creativity and friends, this is one of our favorite nights. Come to enjoy them with us, have a drink, draw, and be part of our community as we discover a new theme, models and stage set up for you every week!
而每周二的前卫绘画工作室，也已经举办了几年了，画友越来越多，规模越来越大，主题模特越见大胆。
我们继续喝酒画画作乐，每周主题大不一样，现场提供纸笔，同学们自由发挥！
