乐手简介
KEVIN GAO 高可超
Kevin Gao is a drummer/composer from Dalian China. Started drums at a young age with Chinese drummer Lianjiang Zhou, he developed strong fundamental skill before immigrated to US. At age 15, he started studying with Matt Johnson, and started his career by doing local performances in California. He received the Louis Armstrong award upon his graduation, the highest award for high school in US. Now, studying at the prestigious music school Berklee College of Music, he is currently studying with the great Francisco mela, Bob Gullotti, and Ralph Peterson. In 2019, he became the first Chinese undergrad student accepted by The Global jazz Institute, and studying under teachers like George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Ben Street, and the founder of BGJI, Danilo Perez. With his unique perspective on the language of Jazz, he is ready to set his spiritual path on his continuous passion towards music in both the Chinese and the US music scene.

XING YIFAN 邢一帆
一帆受训于当代音乐学院，并师从众多北京一流爵士乐手。他已成为北京最具才华的年轻传统爵士贝斯演奏家之一，并活跃于多个爵士现场，也参加电视节目的录制和音乐节例如CCTV15、江苏卫视、迷笛音乐节、广州爵士音乐节等等。活跃于北京一线爵士现场“东岸”与一线的爵士音乐家合作演出，例如：Moreno Donadel, Nathaniel Gao, ，夏佳，刘玥，Izmi Koga, 小豆，李晓川，罗宁等等。对于多种音乐风格的理解与掌握也使得他与程璧、Mr.Miss、苏紫旭等独立音乐人有过合作。
Having studied jazz at Contemporary Music Academy and with many fine musicians in Beijing jazz community, Yifan has grown to be one of most talented young traditional jazz bassists in Beijing and is well sought after at various jazz venues in Beijing.
PIANO 钢琴
WANG ZIYAN 王子延
王子延，青年爵士钢琴家，现于伯克利音乐学院学习爵士钢琴演奏和电影配乐。从小学习古典钢琴，曾师从涂宇亮、赵音、梁华刚，星海音乐学院教授冼劲松、林昶等。后渐渐接触流行和爵士钢琴，并于2018年入读伯克利，师从Tim Ray, Christian Li, Hal Crook, Billy Kilson, Kevin Harris, Alain Mallet等，致力于系统性学习爵士的同时，探索自己的声音和风格。
2019年夏天组成Nomads融合爵士乐队在国内巡演，并于9月受邀参加第十五届爵士上海音乐节。
Ziyan Wang, a young jazz pianist, is currently studying at Berklee College of Music, with double major in performance and film scoring. Starting as a classical pianist, he had studied with Yuliang Tu, Yin Zhao, Huagang Liang, and professors of Xinghai School of Music including Jingsong Xian and Chang Lin. He subsequently learned Pop and jazz music and as a result joined Berklee College of Music, where he has studied with Tim Ray, Christian Li, Hal Crook, Billy Kilson, Kevin Harris, Alain Mallet, and more. During his time at Berklee, he sought to learn jazz systematically while exploring his own aesthetics and sound.
In Summer 2019, he and a couple friends formed the fusion jazz band NOMADS and toured around China. NOMADS was then invited to the fifteenth Shanghai Jazz Festival and performed.
