On THU 15TH, New Age of Decay will throw their album launch party at Modernista, along with Poetry x Music and The Ravages. New Age of Decay attempt to bring poetry and music together through their rhythmic and humorous compositions. The true richness of the album comes from its musical versatility and openness to experimentation.
周四15号，New Age of Decay将在老摩举办一场专辑发行派对，与Poetry x Music 和 The Ravages联手，他们富有节奏和幽默感的作品音乐和诗歌紧密融合，专辑的真正丰富之处在于其音乐的多功能性和对实验的开放性。一个具有多重形式的艺术之夜在等待！

NEW AGE OF DECAY
New Age of Decay is a new band comprised of the musical compositions of The Slow Blade and the poetry writer and performer NotAnotherPoet. The songs featured on their self titled their debut album can best be described as a bleak outlook of the modern world we live in and many of its abject degradations. That said, fear not, if you are so inclined, there may be a laugh or to two for you along the way.
New Age of Decay是一个新的乐队，由作曲者The Slow Blade和诗歌作家及表演者 NotAnotherPoet组成 。他们即将在下月（ 2021 年 4 月）发行首张专辑，其内容可以恰当地描述为我们生活的现代世界的暗淡前景和许多悲惨的退化。也就是说，不要害怕，如果你愿意，一路上可能会有一两个人为你欢笑。
POETRY X MUSIC
Poetry x Music combines the original poetry of Anthony Tao with original compositions on the classical guitar by Liane Halton.
“诗歌x音乐”最初是一个双人组合，成立于2018年，由Anthony Tao的原创诗歌，外加Liane Halton的原创音乐（古典吉他）组成。
The Poetry x Music Band includes David Moser on piano, Ryan Etzcorn on drums, and Jared Lang on bass.
诗歌x音乐乐队包括爵士钢琴师David Moser、鼓手Ryan Etzcorn、贝斯手Jared Lang加盟。

Liane Halton graduated from Rhodes University in South Africa in classical guitar performance and composition. She is very active in the Beijing music scene, having performed her own solo compositions as well as in bands of numerous styles, including pop, surf, punk, and noise.
Liane Halton，毕业于南非罗德斯大学，主攻古典吉他演奏与作曲，但在演奏中融合了现代与爵士的风格。曾与Anthony Tao合作，发行过两个音乐诗歌专辑（poetryxmusic.bandcamp.com)。她目前活跃于北京的音乐圈子，既表演自己创作的独奏作品，也参与其他乐队的演出，曲风包括流行音乐、冲浪音乐、朋克、噪音音乐等。
Anthony Tao is a writer and editor. His poetry has appeared in publications such as The Cortland Review, Rattle, Prairie Schooner, Borderlands, NPR, Frontier, Asian Cha, and more (you can read his work on anthonytao.com). He hosts Spittoon Poetry every month in Beijing.
Anthony Tao（陶一星），作家，编辑，目前居住于北京。他创作的诗歌，散见于报刊杂志，如TheCortland Review，Rattle，Prairie Schooner，Borderlands，NPR，Frontier，Asian Cha等。他还组织过第九届（2016）与第十届（2017）老书虫国际文学节。他目前是SpittoonPoetry Night（Spittoon诗歌朗读之夜）主持人。
David Moser studied jazz composing and improvisation under David Baker at Indiana University's School of Music. As a jazz pianist, he has taken part in numerous concerts and recording projects in Beijing over the past 25 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies from the University of Michigan.
David Moser，现居北京，是一位爵士乐钢琴师，毕业于印第安纳大学音乐学院，师从David Baker学习爵士乐即兴演奏和爵士乐作曲。在京二十五年里，他曾参与众多的音乐会演出，也录制了很多唱片。另外，他还拥有密西根大学的汉语研究博士学位。
Ryan Etzcorn hails from Michigan and works for an international NGO in Beijing. He has worked as a professional touring drummer across the U.S. and Europe, and as a
Ryan Etzcorn，来自美国密歇根，目前供职于北京的一家非政府机构。曾作为鼓手，随专业乐队在欧美巡演。在华盛顿时，他还担任过贸易政策分析师。除了“音乐+诗歌”乐队，他还加盟北京的另一支乐队“后座宾果”（BackseatBingo）。
Jared Lang has a bachelor's degree in jazz piano and a master's degree in composition. He has performed in South Africa, the UK, and the UAE, and has composed music for film and art installations. He was a music lecturer at two South African universities.
Jared Lang, 大学就读于爵士钢琴专业，之后又获得作曲专业的硕士学位。曾在南非、英国、阿联酋等地演出，为电影、艺术展览等谱写过作品，并为南非的两所大学担任过教职。
Poetry x Music’s set at Modernista will be accompanied by live visuals by Nina Dillenz.
Nina Dillenz has a Master’s degree in theater, film, and media studies from the University of Vienna. Her art projects in Beijing mostly revolve around visuals, video, photography, and performance. Her VJ set for Poetry x Music features abstract layers interspersed with elements from nature and daily life. Follow her on Instagram @sempre.libera
Nina Dillenz毕业于戏剧、电影和媒体研究专业，毕业后从维也纳的独立氛围转景到京城，开始专注于现场视觉，背景美术设计，表演以及跨界艺术。她的摄影和视频已在中国和欧洲的画廊和大使馆展出。
THE RAVAGES
The Ravages are a Beijing-based garage trash psych fuzz body slam with members from Hazemaze, Oldy Baby, Poetry x Music and Boss Cuts. Their debut album will be released mid 2021.
