This Tuesday, we celebrate all things pretty and all things Africa. With the occasion of Beijing Africa Week, join us and our friends from Kente & Silk for a special night of drawing colourful fabrics, intricate patterns and head towering wraps, proudly worn by stunningly beautiful models from Beijing’s African community. An iconic, empowering accessory merging cultural identity and fashion, beholding and reinventing tradition, headwraps are truly something to be admired all around the world. Now that you have a chance to draw them right here at Modernista, don’t miss out! It’s Tuesday, time to draw :)
这个星期二，我们庆祝所有美丽的事物和非洲的一切。在北京非洲周之际，与我们和 Kente & Silk 的朋友们一起度过一个特别的夜晚，来一起描绘这些来自北京非洲社区的美丽模特自豪地穿着的色彩缤纷、图案复杂的高耸头巾。作为一种标志性的、赋能的配饰，头巾融合了文化认同和时尚，能够观察和重塑传统，它可以说是全世界都值得钦佩的东西。现在您有机会在老摩描绘它们，千万不要错过！现在是星期二，是时候画画了:)
Drink and Draw is not a drawing class, but an open, free, and creative weekly space for anyone who enjoys drawing while having a good drink.
It features different topics, models, stage setups, and music every week, making it an always fresh and exciting event!
We provide a pen/paper but you are very welcome to bring your own materials. At the end of the night, drawing are collected for models to choose their favorite, and the winners of the night get to drink shots with them.
Every week we announce our topics, post sights, and pictures in the Drink & Draw WeChat groups. Please contact the organizer through this QR Code if you want to join them!
Drink & Draw 并不是绘画课，而是提供了一个免费的自在随性、充满奇思妙想，并且有音乐美酒相伴的绘画创作空间，无需专业，只需尽兴！
在这里，可以使用我们提供的纸笔也可自带工具。每周会有不同的绘画创作主题，配合各式舞台布景、模特及音乐，另每一次体验都新奇有趣。
在Drink & Draw 夜晚的最后，会由模特选出所有画作中最心仪的作品，并且会和创作者共饮shots！
