For this Sunday Jazz Series, we are going to have some contemporary jazz for your ears. Takeshi Sakamoto will be on drums bringing the beat, and he will be joined by Michal Ciesielski on the piano, and Hu Hao on the double bass. You are gonna hear some neosoul, some jazz hiphop, and some other music that will definitely surprise you!
这次的周日爵士之夜，我们为大家的耳朵准备了一些当代爵士。坂本健志将会带来他的鼓点，米哈尔将演奏钢琴，胡浩将演奏低音提琴。你将会听到新灵魂乐、爵士嘻哈，还有一些保证会让你惊喜的其他类型的爵士！

从小时候开始学习古典钢琴，21岁开始于日本从事职业鼓手演出及录音工作和多 个当地艺人合作过电视节目、广播、广告、音乐剧等。表演的曲风包含了流行、 摇滚、爵士、放克、节奏蓝调、金属摇滚及拉丁等。2009年前往美国纽约进修，先于Brooklyn Music Conservatory主修爵士，之后转学到City College of New York BFA, Jazz Department 同样主修爵士，并在当地从事演出，和一些世界级爵士乐手合作。曾师事Greg Hutchinson, Marc Fever, Nathaniel Townsley 学习爵士鼓。2019年10月发表个人专辑「梦幻」，第三十一届金曲奖演奏类最佳音乐制作人入团。2019年搬到北京，担任迷笛音乐学院鼓专业课讲师。Bonney Drum Japan 日本和台湾地区代言人。
He started to learn classical piano at a young age. At the age of 21, he began to work as a professional drummer in Japan for live performances and recording. He has collaborated with many local artists on TV shows, radio, commercials, musicals, etc. His music style includes pop, rock, jazz, funk, rhythm and blues, metal and Latin. In 2009, he went to New York, USA for further study. He first majored in jazz at Brooklyn Music Conservatory, then transferred to City College of New York at the Jazz Department. He performed in the local area, and worked with some world-class jazz musicians. He has learnt jazz drums under Greg Hutchinson, Marc Fever, and Nathaniel Townsley. In October 2019, he released his solo album "Dream", and the best music producer in the performance category of the 31st Golden Melody Awards. He moved to Beijing in 2019 and has been working as a lecturer in the drum professional course at the Midi Conservatory of Music. He is the Bonney Drum Japan spokesperson for Japan and Taiwan.
MICHAŁ CIESIELSKI

PIANO 钢琴
Michał Ciesielski is a composer, arranger and jazz pianist from Gdańsk, Poland, living in Beijing. He completed his studies in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he received his master’s degree as a jazz composer and jazz pianist. He also studied for a year in the Institut of Jazz in Katowice. Composer of contemporary music, jazz, film and theatre music, musical, chamber and symphonic music as well as pop songs and many more. As a pianist Michał toured all around Poland as well as Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Nederlands, Russia, China, Mongolia and Kazakhstan. Since 2018 Michał is teaching jazz piano at Beijing Contemporary Music Academy and is an active member of both Polish and Chinese music scene.
米哈尔·切谢尔斯基(Michał Ciesielski)是一位来自波兰格但斯克(Gdańsk)的爵士钢琴家，作曲家及编曲人，现居住于北京。他在波兰卡托维兹(Katowice)的爵士学校学习过一年，并以爵士作曲与爵士钢琴的硕士学位毕业于波兰的格但斯克音乐学院(Academy of Music in Gdańsk)。米哈尔作曲过一百多首音乐作品，其中包括当代音乐，电影配乐，音乐剧，古典室内乐，交响乐，流行乐等等。他曾获得多个国内和国际的音乐比赛大奖。作为一名钢琴家，米哈尔在波兰，德国，英国，意大利，荷兰，俄国，蒙古，中国和哈萨克斯坦举办过巡演。
从2018年开始，米哈尔在北京现代音乐学院执教爵士钢琴，并且一直活跃于中国音乐与波兰音乐的演出。
HU HAO 胡浩
DOUBLE BASS 低音提琴
Jazz double bass player, he has been performing for over a decade. Participated in the Beijing Nine Gates International Jazz Festival for four consecutive years, and the 2007 Berlin International Jazz Festival in Germany. He has participated in the recording of many programs on CCTV and Beijing TV. He has also performed in collaboration with many pop artists and stars. In 2014, he taught at the Popular Music School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music (Pop and Jazz Music Harmony Public Course). The famous jazz drum master Adam Nussbaum used "the inheritor of real jazz" and "one of the best jazz double bass players I have ever worked with" to praise his performance.
爵士低音提琴演奏家，从事爵士乐演奏十余年。曾连续四年参加北京九门国际爵士节，及2007年德国柏林国际爵士音乐节。曾参加过包括中央电视台，北京电视台等很多节目的录制工作。在流行歌曲领域也与很多艺术家和明星合作演出。2014年任教于四川音乐学院流行音乐学院（流行和爵士音乐和声公共课）。著名爵士鼓大师Adam Nussbaum先生用“真正爵士乐的传承者”以及“合作过的最优秀的爵士低音提琴演奏家之一”来评价他的演奏。
