French musician Bob will bring his original project Bob Dupont & The Outstanding Vegan Bankers back to MODERNISTA for the occasion.

Founded in 1982 by Jack Lang, the French Minister of Culture, Make Music Day is a popular and free festival. The music genre covers jazz, pop, rock, classical, and world music. Since its first year, the Make Music Day was successful and now is adopted by many countries around the world. It now covers over 100 countries on five continents with over 450 cities worldwide.
由时任法国文化部长的雅克• 朗于1982年创办，音乐节自最初就已取得了巨大的成功。作为一个深受民众喜欢的大型免费节日，音乐节涵盖了爵士、流行、摇滚、古典音乐和世界音乐等各种音乐形式。时至今日，“夏至音乐日”已经被全世界许多国家接纳，每年在五大洲超过100 个国家的450多座城市举行。

The Make Music Day achieves international success, which has become social phenomenon. It also drives new musical trends: renewal of traditional music, explosion of world music, development of chorus, budding of RAP and electronic music ... Each June 21st in France, people rush into the streets at dusk to hear the harps around the corner, accordion riverside, pop groups, rock and amateur metal band everywhere, or join an impromptu choir.
“夏至音乐日”在国际上取得了巨大成功，它已然成为一种社会现象。它也成为音乐新潮流的一大推手：传统音乐的再创作，世界音乐的推广，合唱团的发展，说唱和电子流行乐的崭露头角……在法国，每年6月21日，在夜幕即将降临之时，所有人都涌到街上去倾听街角的竖琴声，河边的手风琴声，随处可遇的流行乐、摇滚乐和金属乐业余乐队，或者加入一场即兴合唱表演。
