Gill-Man, also known as Fish Man since he first showed up as an incurable romantic with scales and fins in Creature from the Black Lagoon, he’s been one of the most famous humanoid monsters on the screen. “Years after, his fate seems to have lead him in different directions, from Hellboy’s Abe to the mysterious tank creature from The Shape of Water. This Tuesday, we will bring him to Modernista, telling his stories in different time. Come Drink&Draw with us, and use your art piece to tell us what images of him you prefer.
吉尔曼人，也称鱼人。自从他以长满深海鳞鳍的痴情怪物形象首登《黑湖妖潭》，他已经成为了荧幕上最有标志性的神秘怪物。在多年以后，他的结局也被人们所改写：就像《地狱男爵》里的亚伯，还有《水形物语》里的浪漫鱼人。这个周日，我们将把鱼人带上老摩的舞台，为大家讲述在不同的背景下，他的不同结局。加入我们的前卫绘画工作室，画出你心中最喜欢的鱼人形象。

If this week is all about water, we couldn’t but serve you our beloved Dora Maar as a side treat. Inspired by one of our favorite surrealist photographers, and made with Nordes gin from the bright and cloudy northern Spanish seaside where she resided while photographing the Guernica, Dora Maar has a name reminiscent of the same word for “sea” in Spanish. Brimming full with fresh mint, seashells, sparkling water and purple grape halves, we like to think of it as Maar in a glass. We wish we could also put Ubu in it to better celebrate the artist, but that would be well, just too surrealist for our times.
如果这周主题都和水有关系的话，我们就不得不用“毕加索的情人”这款鸡尾酒来陪伴大家。这款酒的灵感来自我们最喜欢的一位超现实主义摄影师，她的名字有黄金海洋的感觉，我们穿越到西班牙北部的海岸，那是她拍摄毕加索创作《格尔尼卡》的地方，也是我们喝酒畅聊的地方。鸡尾酒中充满了新鲜的薄荷、贝壳、苏打水和紫葡萄，加之想象把Ubu放入其中，完全是超现实的呈现呢。
Drink and Draw is not a drawing class, but an open, free, and creative weekly space for anyone who enjoys drawing while having a good drink.
It features different topics, models, stage setups, and music every week, making it an always fresh and exciting event!
We provide a pen/paper but you are very welcome to bring your own materials. At the end of the night, drawings are collected for models to choose their favorite, and the winners of the night get to drink shots with them.
