Colombian drummer Victor Bastidas is taking us on a magical journey through contemporary and Latin Jazz, featuring his own original compositions and adapted classics. He will be joined by exquisite batch of well know Beijing based music wizards - Seijn Bae on piano, Yuan Ye on double bass and guitarist Zheng Buchuan. VICTOR BASTIDAS RODRIGUEZ

Victor Bastidas received his masters in music with full scholarship from North Illonois University. He has played with many great artists like Michael Breacker and Paquito de Rivera. From 2013 to 2017 Victor lived in Chicago performing regularly with De Paises Project, The Chicago Collective, the Adam Larson quartet, and the Reggie Thomas group. Victor has performed as guest at International festivals such as FIA 2014 in Costa Rica, Jazz al Parque in Bogota Colombia 2012, Cu Jazz Festival in Urbana IL US, 2017, Beijing Jazz Festival 2018, Sam Barsh trio at Xian Music Festival China 2018, Villavicensio Jazz Festival 2016, and New York winter Jazz Fest with the Edmar Castaneda world Ensemble. He Currently Teaches at The Contemporary Music Academy of Bejing in China where he performs regularly with the local and international artists coming through China.
Victor Bastidas以优异的成绩毕业于北伊利诺伊大学音乐系取得硕士学位，获得音乐系的全额奖学金和大学奖学金。2013年至2017年间他定居于芝加哥，并且长期与De Paises Project, The Chicago Collective, Adam Larson quartet以及Reggie Thomas group一起演出。多次参与全球范围内各种音乐节和爵士现场演出：哥斯达黎加的FIA 2014，2012年哥伦比亚波哥大的Jazz al Parque，2017年美国Urbana的爵士音乐节，2017年的北京爵士音乐节，2018年的西安音乐节的Sam Barsh三重奏，2016年的Villavicensio爵士音乐节，纽约冬季爵士音乐节等。他目前任教于中国北京当代音乐学院，并定期同中国的本地及国际艺术家合作。
SEJIN BAE 裴世珍
PIANO 钢琴
Sejin Bae is a Korea based Jazz pianist, composer and arranger who received her bachelor’s degree in Jazz performance at one of the most famous and competitive colleges in Seoul, The Dongduk Women’s University. There she was awarded many scholarships to attend and graduated with honors. Wanting to further pursue her music education, she moved to New York City back in 2010 to attend graduate school at Queens College. At Queens College she had the privilege to study with David Berkman, Jeb Patton, Michael Mossman, Antonio Hart and Johannes Weidenmuller. During her time in New York City, she participated in many gigs, concerts and master classes. Sejin is currently living in Beijing performing with some of the finest musicians. She released her first album “Direction” in the fall of 2020 with Italian based label “DA VINCI JAZZ”. She has performed with many world-class musicians including Mark Turner, Michael Mossman and Rudresh Mahanthappa with Blue Note China Jazz Orchestra and frequently performs in many music festivals such as Jz Festival, Changchun Jazz Festival, and Xian Jazz Festival etc.
裴世珍是为钢琴家，作曲家以及编曲家并在韩国很著名的同德女子大学获得爵士表演学士学位。2010年，她搬到纽约市并在皇后大学上研究生。在皇后大学她师从David Berkman，Jeb Patton，Michael Mossman，Antonio Hart以及Johannes Weidenmuller。在纽约的时候，她经常参加各种演出，音乐会以及大师班。世珍试图将自己的创作能量带到北京的音乐舞台，在2020年秋季，她通过意大利唱片公司“DA VINCI JAZZ”发行了首张专辑“Direction”。她近期跟Blue Note爵士大乐团和Mark Turner，Michael Mossman，Rudresh Mahanthappa同台以及在Jz爵士音乐节于长春，西安音乐节演出。
ZHENG BUCHUAN 郑卜川
GUITAR 吉他
Zheng Buchuan studied in “Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar” with Frank Möbus, dedicated to play Jazz and Rock music. He played with Jim Black once in 2018 and now is part of various groups that are active in all kinds of live music venues in Beijing.
郑卜川，就读于魏玛李斯特音乐学院，师从于Frank Möbus，致力于演奏爵士乐与摇滚乐。2018年与Jim Black合作演出过。现在在多个乐队任吉他手一职，活跃于北京各大Live House及酒吧。
YUAN YE 袁野
DOUBLE BASS 低音贝斯
Yuan Ye excells playing Funk, Bossa, Fusion, Jazz, Pop, and RnB. He is currently the bass player of the CMA Jazz Big Band at the Beijing Modern Music Institute and took part in the 7th edition of Nine Doors Jazz Festival. He also participated at the Beijing Modern Music Festival. During the school times, he won the Jazz Academy Pelizzaro Scholarship. He was a member of the first Jazz seminar held in Shanghai and participated in the exhibition competition for the best solo performance award. With an Australian drummer Zac, he formed a Zac Trio, he is also part of Forest Band and is very active in various live music venues in the capital.
能够演奏FUNK BOSSA FUSION JAZZ POP RNB各种风格 。现任北京现代音乐学院 cma jazz大乐队bass手 并参加第七届九门爵士音乐节北京现代音乐学院拉丁大乐队bass手并随乐队参加北京现代音乐节演出。在校期间获得jazz学院佩利扎罗奖学金曾获上海举办的第一届jazz研讨会会员并参加展演赛或最佳演奏solo奖 。于澳大利亚鼓手zac一起组建zac三重奏活跃在北京个个酒吧曾担任森林大乐队bass手。
