2022 is underway, we aim to keep it going with the same enthusiasm and style. Thursday will see Satellite and Sunday Liu Peiyi Quartet will be providing for our Jazz nights, relaxed and warm nights out of the cold. Another way to shake off the winter chills is to get down and dance with our Latin Monday or have yourself a swing lesson on Wednesday. Any schedule lineup wouldn't be complete without our Drink & Draw, this week a showcase of mixed media narrative journey.
If all that passes you by then don't feel bad, Friday Interstellar will be providing live disco music, and come Saturday night the Afro-Gent will be here with their RnB, Reggie, Afrobeat vibes. Both bands are followed by our DJ's Vincent Von Rock and Peng and of course our happy hour shots.
2022 年进行时，在老摩，我们当然要一如既往，为大家呈现更多的热情和风格！周四实验爵士团Satellite和周日刘培义四重奏将点燃我们的爵士之夜。摆脱寒冷，跳个舞是不错的选择，周一跟我们一起上萨萨舞课，然后同拉丁味道现场乐队一起跳舞，亦或者是周三加入摇摆舞之夜。没有我们周二的前卫绘画工作室，这周就不完整了，让我们飞跃地平线，来一场混合媒体叙事之旅。当然，我们的周末派对也不容错过！周五让我们重返80年代，一场迪斯科狂欢趴在等待；周六，Afro-Gents带着非洲节奏款款而来，乐队以后，我们最爱的DJ Vincent Von Rock 和 Peng轮番登场，同时还有我们的午夜欢乐时光！

Wrapping up holidays in a best possible way with a lot of dancing and Latin vibes while setting the example for rest of the 2022 party rhythm. Perfect equation for a Monday motivation is already well known: Salsa Dance Classes + Savor Latino live band. Lets make it valid through the year ahead. Try out dance classes with Liyenni from 8:30 PM. She will make sure you are ready to take over the dance floor when Savor Latino live band sets on stage from 9:30 PM.

Step onto the dance floor as a begginer or a long time lover of dance to warm up your skills and keep away the winter blues. Don't be bashful if you're new, the Balboa Dance Trial starting 8PM will get you introduced and inducted to proud and long standing dance community. Then stick around for the Social Dance and show off what you can do.

This Sunday promises to another great jazz night with Liu Peiyi Quartet. Liu's saxophone will be accompanied by Bi Zhigang on bass, Han Ming Xuan on drums and Tong Wei on piano. They will play various works including their original music, adapted Chinese songs and of course some standard Jazz. There are some links below for you to check out some of their music and get you in the mood before you come.
这个周日又是一个曼妙的爵士之夜。这个周日将是与刘培义爵士四重奏一起度过的又一个美妙的爵士之夜。刘培义的萨克斯将伴随贝斯手毕志刚、鼓手韩明轩和钢琴手童炜他们的四重奏将演奏多元的作品，包括他们的原创音乐，改编中国乐曲，还有爵士经典曲目。加入我们，伴随着乐手们对音乐的热爱，爱上收尾一周的音乐之夜。

Everyone knows about it, right? We don't do happy hours at Modernista... well, except that 10 RMB Midnight Shots Happy Hour. We call it on that hour since our DJ always needs some extra love shot at him after the live music ends and the dance party starts. Try some classics such are Coco Locos, Naughty Girls and Dirty Russians. Take your pick between the intoxicating Purple Haze or the cool sweetness of the Chocolate Mint. Dare to try the tequila in Strawberry Cupid's Bow, or the spicy fire burning in Kill Bill shot. Or maybe just want to have a strong, velvety, and decadent After Hours? One way or another, they will get the party started, Modernista style!"
