The most beautiful time of the year continues at Modernista. We are ready for 2021's farewell and New Year's Holiday. Have you ever attended a New Year's Eve-Eve? Join us for a pre NYE bash on Thursday 30th featuring three explosive bands, Back Seat Bingo, Beijing Weezer, and Peachy Carnehan. Then say Hi to 2022 as blonde bombshell Tea will lead you to the New Year's Eve countodwn on Friday, Dec 31st along with DJ Jagerzhadan who will make sure we all dance all night long.
On the first day of 2022 we will be having a special treat with debut concert of Artan Music Group. Deanthedj will be in charge for spinning the dance tunes afterwards. On Sunday Jan 2nd, our old friends Mojohand are making a great comeback for a night of Deep Blues featuring some of the most famous bluesmen in China, coming along DJ Peng will spin the tunes to the party of new year. For the last day of holiday we are all set for Salsa fiesta with Savor Latino live band on Monday 3rd.

As the end of the year approaches, we find ourselves worrying about where and when we're going to whittle away the last precious moments of 2021. At least this year, it's a weekend. Will you give in to FOMO, and live, laugh, and love the moments you'll never remember with the people we'll never forget? Or will you finally have that "quiet night in with the loved one(s)" you've been dreaming of for the last few post-celebratory hangovers? Fortunately, for whatever end of the two extremes (or maybe somewhere in the middle) chosen, you can start your party one day early with these three bands!

It is time to review the year passed and say goodbye to 2021. For us it was a blast. A lot of music, dancing, creativity, great new food and exquisite drinks. To keep it on the same note we plan to ring into new year with a stellar show. Everyone’s favorite blonde bombshell TEA will put her powerful voice into the service of our New Year’s Eve celebrations! Her band already needs no introduction, and we could not think of a better way to start 2022. Follow their sexy groovy RnB Pop tunes to the dance floor. Lets get ready for a spectacular midnight countdown and (honor Modernista’s ten years long Midnight 10 RMB Shots Happy Hour tradition) DJ Jagerzhadan who will make sure no one leaves home (too) early.

Mojohand will be in charge for an unforgettable performance, as the most recognized Blues band in China, they will be sure to bring the best NYE gift to all of you music lovers in town. We found the perfect equation for a Monday motivation: Salsa Dance Classes + Savor Latino live band + Mojitos and we are keeping it for 2022 as well. There is no excuse to complain about winter blues anymore and enjoy last day of New Year's Holiday. Try out dance classes with Liyenni from 8:30 PM. She will make sure you are ready to take over the dance floor when Savor Latino live band sets on stage from 9:30 PM. Modernista is proudly announcing that we are back to our favorite mantra - Monday is the new Friday.

We call it on that hour since our DJ always needs some extra love shot at him after the live music ends and the dance party starts. Try some classics such are Coco Locos, Naughty Girls and Dirty Russians. Take your pick between the intoxicating Purple Haze or the cool sweetness of the Chocolate Mint. Dare to try the tequila in Strawberry Cupid's Bow, or the spicy fire burning in Kill Bill shot. Or maybe just want to have a strong, velvety, and decadent After Hours? One way or another, they will get the party started, Modernista style!"
