It's half way through January, to get the ball rolling (also dancing) is Salsa classes and Savor Latino. More dancing on Wednesday, with the Balboa dance trial. As mid-week hits, we move things in a different direction with Jumua Trio. Come and get lost in a symphany of Middle Eastern Contemporary sounds.
This weekend will start with the amazing Beatles Remastered, covering a host of classics to get you singing and dancing. Following up on Saturday, we barely need to introduce them, Stevie Mac and The Mac Daddies. When midnight hits, like Cinderalla our bands will be gone but in their place will be Vincent Von Rock and PÉNG rocking it till the early hours with the assistance of our Happy Hour Shots.
No week could be complete without at least one performance from our Jazz series. This Sunday it will be Wu Yunna Quintent.

当然，不要忘了我们每周二的前卫绘画工作室，这周，我们将深入日式庭院，一起冥想；随着周四的到来，Jumua Trio登台献演，来吧，沉浸在由一群才华横溢的多乐器演奏家提供的中东现代声音中；周五，意味着周末的开始，我们将从令人惊叹的披头士致敬夜开始，涵盖一系列经典歌曲，让您放声歌唱、跳舞不断；周六跟进，Mac Daddies再次登上舞台，这个复古流行大乐队不需要再介绍了，跳就完事了！当午夜钟声敲响，DJ Vincent Von Rock和PÉNG，将同我们午夜欢乐时光一起继续让你在舞池摇摆不停。周日爵士夜，重逢老朋友，和吴云南五重奏一起，给这一周画上一个圆满的句号。

Monday is swinging back around so that means it's time for some Salsa moves！Dance classes start at 8:30 PM with the talented Liyenni. She will give you all the skills you need to take over the dance floor when Savor Latino live band jumps on stage from 9:30 PM.
周一到了，拉丁节奏也赶紧安排上！来一场周一限定的派对之夜：萨萨舞课程 + 拉丁现场乐队的绝妙组合，足以让你立刻前往老摩。晚上 8:30，快来和Liyenni一起学习萨萨舞，做好课后跟着拉丁味道现场乐队一起跳舞派对的准备。9：30，乐队准时开演，周一一跳舞，横扫一周不开心！

This week we invite you to meditate with us while you draw as our stage turns into a fantastic Japanese Zen Rock Garden. Follow the ondulating sand lines as they show your pencil the path to a peaceful and transient state of mind. This new year, Zen drawing is the new thing to do. Don’t miss out the chance to become a zen artist for a night and let your hand flow as our garden changes shapes with every pose!

Step onto the dance floor to warm up your skills and keep away the winter blues. Don't be bashful if you're new, the Balboa Dance Trial starting 8PM will get you introduced and inducted to proud and long standing dance community. Then stick around for the Social Dance and show off what you can do.

Music that draws inspiration from across cultures, and the musicians who intergrate this into their art are promising something wonderful. So tonight we can look forward to hearing Middle Eastern sounds mixed with contempary styles. Providing this feast of sound will be multi-instrumentalist Pierre Brahin with his Oud, alongside He Keiran on percussions using his Kaval, Wang Qianyu on bass. Let these talented musicians broaden your musical horizons for an enchanting evening!
音乐，通常会在不同文化的灵感启发下，碰撞出不一样的花火。JUMUA 三重奏的音乐将中东及印度传统音乐，同当代音乐理念相结合，演奏精选的原创中东旋律和少许传统音乐。多乐器演奏家Pierre Brahin（备受赞誉的Samaga乐队的一员）将奏响乌德琴，何恺然负责打击乐和土耳其芦笛，搭配贝斯手王乾语。本周四，Jumua 首次献演老摩，精彩不容错过！

They are a select and complimentive combination of musicians, varying in styles from Swing, Bebop, Bossa Nova, Smooth Jazz and more. They make their way back to our stage to do it all! Our Sunday evening jazz line ups are all the better for their attendance. Seasoned sax player Wu Yunnan will be backed by four talented performers - Wu Tao on flute, Liwei Le on guitar, bass player Liu Jianhuang and drummer Takeshi Sakamoto. Come book your tables!
诸多音乐家齐聚，火花碰撞出不同的曲风融合——包括 Swing、Bebop、Bossa Nova、（非常）Smooth Jazz 等等，吴云南爵士五重奏，将在本月的第一个爵士周日为我们的舞台增光添彩。经验丰富的萨克斯演奏家吴云南协同四位伟大的演奏家——长笛演奏家吴涛、吉他演奏家李伟乐、贝斯演奏家刘建皇和鼓手坂本健志。距离他们上次在老摩的演出已经时隔几个月，是时候和老朋友们叙叙旧了。

Everyone knows about it, right? We don't do happy hours at Modernista... well, except that 10 RMB Midnight Shots Happy Hour. We call it on that hour since our DJ always needs some extra love shot at him after the live music ends and the dance party starts. Try some classics such are Coco Locos, Naughty Girls and Dirty Russians. Take your pick between the intoxicating Purple Haze or the cool sweetness of the Chocolate Mint. Dare to try the tequila in Strawberry Cupid's Bow, or the spicy fire burning in Kill Bill shot. Or maybe just want to have a strong, velvety, and decadent After Hours? One way or another, they will get the party started, Modernista style!"
