ABOUT THE ARTISTS
乐手简介
Beijing’s unique female vocal Blues band centers their style on Urban Blues, using the attitude and mind of contemporary urban youth as the core of creation. It is currently the backbone of the domestic blues field.
The band continuously participated in the Beijing International Blues Music Festival and rock festivals held in various places. In terms of creation, the band collaborated with international musicians such as Shun Kikuta, Chigataro, Lee Kanehira, and recorded the new album together.
In terms of stage performance, Double Beat strives for precision, splendor, and excellence in music expression. Their performance has been loved by fans and industry insiders, and Double Beat has performed with international and domestic first-line band musicians.
When the lead singer starts the singing, and it is her duty to restore the original appearance of blues music. They hope that through efforts and experience, they can add an excellent blues part to the domestic music industry.

乐队连续参演北京国际蓝调音乐节，及全国各地举办的摇滚音乐节。在创作上，乐队携手Shun Kikuta、千贺太郎、Lee Kanehira等国际音乐人协同合作，一起为新专辑录音。
在舞台表现上，Double Beat乐力求精准、精细、精彩，对音乐表达力求精益求精。演奏水平得到粉丝和业内人士一致好评，经常和国际国内一线乐队音乐人同台演出。

CASSIE M. MENG 孟蒙

Meng was born in a family of literature and art. With an explosive voice, his style combines Etta James & Koko Taylor singing temperament.
She has been the lead singer in many bands during his studies in New York, and joined Double Beat after returning to China.
孟蒙——出生于文学艺术之家，天生有一副爆发力十足的好嗓子，个人风格兼具Etta James & Koko Taylor演唱气质，在纽约攻读硕士期间，担任不同风格的乐队主唱。同时，积极参与一些
小型比赛和公众演出，并在每一次露面中收获了大量粉丝的积累与支持。
2016年取得常青藤哥伦比亚大学硕士学历后归国。随即参与组建DoubleBeat Band，正式投入中文原创布鲁斯的世界中。擅长Blues、Soul、Funk等黑人音乐风格。

When he was a student, he collected original books and records as an opportunity to devote himself to the music business. In 2016, he founded the independent music label Dove Records, and launched strategic cooperation with labels and musicians in the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. He used to be a lecturer at Beijing Modern Music Research Institute and is now a guest lecturer at Midi Music School. His personal book "The Complete History of Rock and Roll" will be published by East China University of Science and Technology Press in 2021.
学生时代收集原文书籍和唱片为契机投身音乐事业。2016年创立独立音乐厂牌Dove Records，与英美、日本、韩国、及东南亚地区厂牌及音乐家们展开战略合作。2016年～2018年，曾两度渡美深度探访摇滚乐根源文化。沿行20多个城市，探访各地超过40位一线音乐家。曾任北京现代音乐研修学院讲师，现兼任迷笛音乐学校客座讲师，个人著书《摇滚乐全史》将于华东科技大学出版社2021年发行。

Outstanding young harmonica player, graduated from Beijing Midi Music School.
He once performed as a harmonica player in many bands, and played intensively in large and small music venues. After meeting many outstanding Blues musicians at home and abroad, he began to develop it as a career.
He has an obvious personal style, has mastered the traditions of modern mergers, and has a deep personal understanding of blues music. He is also the most promising young harmonica player in the industry.
青年卓越口琴手，毕业于北京迷笛音乐学校。
曾在多支乐队中担任口琴手，密集演奏于大大小小音乐现场，因结识众多国内外优秀Blues音乐人，开始将其作为职业而发展。
个人风格明显，驾驭得了现代兼并得传统，对布鲁斯音乐有着深刻的个人理解，也是业内评价最未来可期的青年口琴手。

Born in a family of musicians, he learned piano under the influence of his grandfather since childhood. Graduated from China Conservatory of Music majoring in double bass. Professional bass player, since 1996, has participated in large-scale performances of many well-known artists and bands domestically and abroad, and has always been active on the stage of music scenes.
出生于音乐世家，自幼在祖父的熏陶下学习钢琴。毕业于中国音乐学院低音提琴专业。职业贝斯手，自1996年至今参与两岸三地众多知名艺人及乐队的大型演出，始终活跃于音乐现场的舞台上。
WU ZHIJUN 吴志军
DRUMS 鼓
He is one of the most trusted drummers by international Blues musicians in China, and is the designated cooperating drummer of Yoshizumi China. As a three-time Grammy nominee, the legendary musician Billy Branch of the American Blues Hall of Fame, the American blues general Shun Kikuta, the blues pianist Lee Kanehira, the harmonica flagman Kotez and others have toured and cooperated as a fixed drummer. He graduated from the Art Department of National Huaqiao University. After graduation, he joined the first original Chinese blues pioneer in China-Hangtian Band as the drummer and participated in the recording of its album. He has served as drummer and percussionist in many bands such as Jazz Golden Buddha, Zhang Ling, Jazz Du Yinjiao. In 2018, he traveled to the United States for a short time and participated in performances by local musicians in Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans and other places. During this period, he appeared in the Chicago Blues Music Festival impromptu meeting and performed on the stage of Rosa's Lounge, a famous blues club in Chicago. He is currently the most cutting-edge musician across the Jazz and blues world in China.
国内最受国际布鲁斯音乐家信赖的鼓手，有吉須美人中华区指定合作鼓手。曾作为三届格莱美提名，美国蓝调名人堂传奇音乐家Billy Branch、美国蓝调将军Shun Kikuta、蓝调钢琴手Lee Kanehira、口琴旗手Kotez等人巡演固定合作鼓手。毕业于国立华侨大学艺术系，毕业后来京发展，加入国内首支原创中文布鲁斯先驱——杭天乐队担任鼓手，参与其专辑录制。曾在金佛爵士、张岭、杜银蛟爵士等诸多乐队担任鼓手和打击乐手。2018年短期渡美，在芝加哥、孟菲斯、新奥尔良等地，参与当地音乐人的演出活动。期间，亮相芝加哥布鲁斯音乐节即兴大会，并在芝加哥著名蓝调俱乐部Rosa's Lounge舞台演出。是目前国内横跨爵士与布鲁斯界最前沿的音乐人。

Sound Engineer by day and DJ at night is playing a variety of music from Afro, Pop, RnB, HipHop, Latin and EDM.
白天是调音师，晚上便化身DJ，Dean最擅长的曲风是非洲音乐，流行，RnB, HipHop, 拉丁和EDM.
