ABOUT THE ARTIST
Popularly known as CJ, like any artist worth their salt, his music performance is the result of many things. He was raised in Accra to Ghanaian and American/Sierra Leonean parents. And as a child of the 80s, it's no wonder that his music sounds the way it does. He is a versatile pianist and singer; his diverse repertoire spans across famous piano pieces and popular tunes from well-known Classical, Jazz, Soul, Pop, R&B, and Afro Beats genres. No matter what category you put him in, he'll always find some way of getting out of it. His affinity with the keys has fueled a fire that has driven his musical direction as well as igniting a passion for vocals. He is currently performing within high-end hotels, corporate functions, private events, as well as numerous lounges and bars here in Beijing, China. He can perform independently as a solo artist, as well as within a duo or band. He collaborates with some of the best artists and musicians, taking part in many different projects.
