ABOUT THE ARTIST
Named after the main character in a Lu Xun novel, the Ah-Q Jazz Arkestra has stubbornly found its own niche in the Beijing jazz scene for more than two decades, bringing together an eclectic mix of musicians, styles, and original jazz compositions. Playful, creative, adventurous, the Ah-Q Jazz Arkestra uses the rich language of jazz to explore the rhythms, melodies, harmonies and emotions of our world.
二十多年以来，阿Q爵士乐团在北京爵士界像鲁迅小说里的同名角色一样，近乎固执地坚持打造自己独特的声音，把各路乐手、不同风格、以及原创曲目荟萃一堂，充满张力。怀着爱玩、独创、探险的精神，阿Q爵士乐团通过爵士乐这个极其丰富的语言探索我们所在世界的旋律、和声、节奏和情感 。
