This Friday, we kick off the weekend with 3 bands and a whole lot of fun! First up is Laugal Trio, blending trippy post-rock psychedelia with pop-rock hooks that’ll get stuck in your head for days. Then there’s Deathbed, and trust us, your deathbed is ready (whatever that means, you’ll want to find out). Finally, End of the World will blow the roof off with their genre-smashing mix of ska, punk, rock, and everything in between, so you know it’s gonna be wild! Afterwards, DJ Vincent Von Rock is here to keep you dancing all night long, with late night happy hour drinks to fuel the fun. It's gonna be epic!

LAUGAL TRIO
Laugal Trio blends post-rock psychedelia with pop-rock melodies that will surely get stuck in your head. While offering listeners an avant-garde rock musical experience, at the heart of the trio’s sound are infectious yet spacey guitar riffs and an effected electric violin atmospheric sound. The combination of these two instruments creates a sonic landscape that is both captivating and thought-provoking. But it’s not just the instrumentation that sets the trio apart. Deep, catchy vocals paired with the driving rhythm of Julian on drums and Calvin on bass bring a sense of energy and excitement to Laugal’s solo works. Hence, the Laugal Trio was recently born, of all places, in Beijing where they currently reside. Their passion for avant-garde melodic rock creates a genre-bending artistic experience that is sure to leave an impression.

END OF THE WORLD
End of the World sprung to life in Beijing in late 2001 as a profane, high-energy ska/punk band, but their music has since grown into a genre-smashing mix of styles covering nearly the entire history of popular music in one set. With sounds borrowed from '50s and '60s Rock n' Roll, Surf, and Rock-a-Billy, to Rock, Punk, and Ska from the '70s, '80s, and beyond, and with a little Reggae and Swing for good measure, EOTW produces a variety of songs unmatched in Beijing's music scene.
While playing mostly original songs that show off the eclectic music tastes and styles of its members, EOTW also pays tribute to the bands they love with an odd selection of known and unknown cover songs.
End of the World 于 2001 年底在北京诞生，当时是一支亵渎、充满活力的斯卡/朋克乐队，但他们的音乐后来发展成为一种颠覆流派的风格组合，涵盖了几乎整个流行音乐历史。声音借鉴了 50 年代和 60 年代的摇滚乐、冲浪和摇滚比利音乐，以及 70 年代、80 年代及以后的摇滚、朋克和 Ska 音乐，并融入了一点雷鬼和摇摆乐。总体来说，EOTW 创作的歌曲种类丰富，在北京乐坛上无与伦比。在演奏大部分展示其成员不拘一格的音乐品味和风格的原创歌曲的同时，EOTW 还通过一些奇怪的已知和未知的翻唱歌曲向他们喜爱的乐队致敬。
