ABOUT BLACK JUICE
Formed in the summer of 2022 in Beijing, Black Juice came together through a shared love for jazz and blues. Each member brings a diverse musical background shaped by years of study and professional experience, united by the desire to create music that breaks away from conventional band stereotypes while blending vintage charm with modern sensibilities.
Their sound draws from R&B, Disco, and Rock, delivering grooves steeped in a nostalgic yet urban spirit. Through expressive arrangements and evocative lyrics, Black Juice challenges traditional musical boundaries — a core essence of their artistic identity. Their debut album Chasing Light · Sinking was released globally on July 30, 2024, and within just three days, it was featured on Apple Music’s top recommendation banner and QQ Music’s New Album spotlight. The album was nominated for “Best Chinese R&B/Soul Album” at the 11th HJR0 Music Awards and received strong recognition from numerous radio stations and music media outlets.
The lead single Night Walker reached Top 52 on the Global Chinese Song Chart, Top 20 on the China Song Chart, was shortlisted for the Oriental Billboard, and ranked Top 35 on NetEase Music’s Appreciation Chart. The title track Chasing Light · Sinking hit Top 2 on the Qinzhou Chinese Music Chart, while Thorn reached Top 6 on the same list. Currently, the band’s official Bilibili account has surpassed 10,000 followers.
2022年夏，北京，五人因对爵士与蓝调的最初热爱而相识。成员们在各自的音乐学习与职业道路上，对不同的音乐风格都有着广泛涉猎，只为创作出脱离人们对乐队固有印象、融合复古与当代元素的深刻作品。Black Juice 黑果汁乐队的作品风格融合了 R&B、Disco、Rock 等元素，突显律动与复古都市氛围。编曲与歌词的情绪传达打破了传统音乐风格的框架，这正是乐队的基调。Black Juice 黑果汁乐队专辑《追光·沉没》于 2024 年 7 月 30 日全球发行，短短三日便登上 Apple Music 置顶推荐 Banner，并获 QQ 音乐新专辑推荐 Banner。专辑《追光·沉没》入围第 11 届 HJR0 音乐奖“最佳华语节奏蓝调/灵魂乐专辑”，并获得多家电台和音乐媒体人的推荐与认可。专辑主题曲《夜行》获全球华语歌曲榜 Top 52、中国歌曲排行榜 Top 20、东方风云榜入围、网易云音乐赏音榜 Top 35；同名主题曲《追光·沉没》获钦州华语音乐动听榜 Top 2，《刺》获同榜 Top 6。目前，乐队 Bilibili 官方账号粉丝量已超过 1 万。
