微粉网讯：以石化产品及基础化学品起家的Tosoh，该厂子公司在2016年底于韩国开设营业据点后，针对韩国三星电子(Samsung Electronics)等大厂的需求，决定强化半导体设备与液晶面板用石英玻璃行销，并考虑进一步投资OLED相关设备。
据日本工业新闻报导，Tosoh石英玻璃事业的特色，在于从材料加工到生产一体化的生产体系，品质有保证，不仅可用在显示器面板上，在半导体设备的冶具、OLED生产用光罩、医疗与光学器材市场上，都可应用。
由于夏普(Sharp)在2016年底停止对三星电子的液晶面板供货，韩国厂商需扩大自己的液晶面板生产线，因此Tosoh Quartz在2016年12月就到韩国设立行销据点，希望抢得相关商机。
而且石英玻璃在韩国的商机，还不仅液晶面板，三星从2013年起生产3D NAND快闪存储器，其他存储器厂则从2016年才投入相关产品市场，领先的三星不愿让出地位，因此与其他厂商竞相展开3D NAND快闪存储器厂房投资，相关石英玻璃需求跟着水涨船高。
而且3D NAND快闪存储器的生产工序，比过去的2D NAND快闪存储器多出许多道步骤，属于耗材的石英玻璃用量料将随着3D NAND快闪存储器增产而增加，Tosoh也看好这个市场。
目前Tosoh的石英玻璃是在日本山口县的Tosoh SGM生产，然后在美国、台湾、英国等地据点加工，不过随着韩国的电视、NAND快闪存储器石英玻璃需求增加，假如OLED面板生产过程的石英玻璃耗材需求也上升的话，Tosoh不排除在韩国设立石英玻璃生产线，以因应当地市场需求。
目前全球石英玻璃市场的竞争相当激烈，日本、美国、大陆等地厂商竞争激烈，任何市场都要争夺，因此Tosoh看上需求急速成长的韩国市场。
除了石英玻璃外，Tosoh在2016年中推出新款OLED面板用保护材料，适用于可挠曲OLED显示面板，保护性能是传统材料的10倍，对于深怕氧化的OLED面板是很有市场的材料，这是该厂在石英玻璃以外，也可能积极朝韩国厂商推销的产品。（来源：OLED快讯，如有侵权请联系删除）
