Aging flakes and fluorescent flakes are both PET polymers, and they have no apparent difference in color compared to ordinary PET flakes. All color and polymer sorters can't separate those materials, which leaves a demand problem in the industry. Meyer innovates ultraviolet light sorting technology to separate aging flakes and fluorescent flakes which are not easily recognized by the eye in AAA-PET, and successfully solves the processing problem in the industry. Besides the CI-U UV sorter, Meyer also launches the PET all-form sorting solution this year. It integrates visible light, infrared light, ultraviolet light into PET flakes sorting to improve the sorting accuracy of the bottle, flake, cap, bottleneck and scraps, which results in a higher recycling rate of PET plastic.
