On January 6, Ms. Lu Hong, Chairwomanof the Board of Directors, Macao Investment and Development Limited, paid avisit to Changzhou with a delegation of Macao Special Administrative Region Government. Mr. Zhou Changming, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and Director of Changzhou Municipal OrganizationDepartment, met with Lu and her delegation in the Administration Center.
Changzhou and Macao have carried out extensive exchangesand cooperation in education, culture, tourism, etc. In October last year,Jiangsu Province and the Macao SARG signed the memorandum of understanding onbuilding the Jiangsu-Macao Cooperation Park in Changzhou, which provided forthe city a great opportunity. Zhou said that Changzhou will seize theopportunity to build the Jiangsu-Macao Cooperation Park into a demonstrationzone of Jiangsu’s reform and opening up, innovation and development, andscientific development.
Macao Investment and Development Limited（MID）hasparticipated in regional economic and trade cooperation and exertion of investmentprojects, endeavoring itself to contribute to sustainable development ofMacao's economy and constant advancement of trading business.
During their stay in Changzhou, the delegates visited theWest Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park, Yancheng Remains, TaihuLake Bay Resorts and Changzhou Science and Education Town.
