Nanjing<=>Milan Direct Flights Launch on 4 May

As of 4th May  2017, ther is new airline lunched that make it possible to travel by air from Milan-Malpensa to Nanjing directly without connecting flights.  Now travellers don't need to transit in Shanghai or Beijing 

It runs by Neos, an Italian leisure airline, and will schedule the flight every Thursday and Sunday, twice a week between Lukou Internation Airport(Nanjing) and  Malpensa International Airport(Milan).

In recent years, the number of Chinese tourists’ outbound travel, especially to Europe, became bigger and bigger. The demands are more and more diversified. 

According to Officials of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, it showed great interest on the project and expected to promote Chinese tourists traveling to Europe via Italy in the future. It also a great news for football fans as they can go to Milan to watch football games and travel by taking direct flights from Lukou airport with over 10 hours. 

5月4日起，南京直飞意大利米兰，去米兰看球、旅游，再不用从香港、上海等地中转，直接从南京禄口机场飞10多个小时即可抵达。这是我省继德国法兰克福之后，开通的第二条直飞欧洲的客运航线。

南京往返米兰航线，是意大利勒奥斯航空在中国市场开出的首条定期运行航线。开航初期将由波音767执飞，次年将更换更先进的787机型。每周三22：30从米兰马尔彭萨机场起飞，次日16：00到达南京﹔周四17：50从南京起飞，次日00：50落地。返程每周日00：05从米兰起飞，17：30到达南京﹔21：50从南京起飞，次日05：00到达米兰。

斯卡拉剧院、圣玛丽亚感恩教堂、米兰主教教堂、国立科学技术博物馆、布雷拉画廊……米兰不仅是意大利的时尚、购物、艺术、金融中心，也是足球和体育中心，深受中国游客喜爱。
