Hi, guys! Do you do housework everyday? Do you feel tired about your home’s housework? If it is the fact, you need an “ayicleaning lady)”to help you, then do you know how to ask her to clean up your house? Now, we will talk about how to tell your “ayi” to clean up your house. There are some easy sentences that you can use to ask your “ayi”to do some specific works in the following. (ps: the characters in pink are verbs, the ones in blue are objects)

 

1.家务zuò jiā wù):do chores

"家务 (jiā wù)" is the general term for all kinds of domestic chores.

 

2.打扫房子(dǎ sǎo fáng zi):clean up the house

Except "房子 (fáng zi)", the other objects you can put after "打扫(dǎ sǎo)" ,such as:

厨房(chú fángkitchen”,

"客厅 (kè tīng) living room",

"卧室 (wò shì) bedroom" ,

"生间 (wèi shēng jiān) toilet".

 

3.桌子(cā zhuō zi) wipe the table
The other objects you can put after " (cā)" could be:

"电脑(diàn nǎo ) computer”,

"镜子 (jìng zi) mirror" ,

"chuāngwindow " and so on.

 

4.(zuò fàn) cook meal,

After “(zuò)” could be:

"蛋糕 (dàn gāo) cake".

 

5.垃圾(dào lā jī) take out the trash

 

6.(tuō dì) mop the floor

 

7.(sǎo dì) sweep the floor

 

8.(xǐ wǎn) do the dishes

" (xǐ)" means "wash". The other objects you can put after it could be:

"毛巾(máo jīn) towel",

"杯子 (bēi zi) glass;mug; cup" and so on.

 

9.衣服 (xǐ yī fu) do the laundry

 

10.衣服(yùn yī fu) iron clothes

 

Have you learned it? And usually we can put “请(qǐng”before these sentences to be polite. And your “ayi” will be more willing to help you clean up your beautiful house!

 

There are some easy sentences maybe you need to use:

 

1. 阿姨,请帮我熨一下衣服。

ā yí,qǐng bāng wǒ yùn yī xià yī fú.

 

Ayi, could you iron the clothe for me?


2. 请帮我洗碗,好吗?

qǐng bāng wǒ xǐ wǎn hǎo ma

 

Can you help me wash the dishes?

 

3. 今天你可以做饭吗?

jīn tiān nǐ kě yǐ zuò fàn ma

 

Can you cook today?

 

4. 请帮我照顾我的孩子。

qǐng bāng wǒ zhào gù wǒ de hái zǐ.

 

Please take care of my kids.

 

5. 请开一下门,谢谢。

qǐng kāi yī xià mén, xiè xie.


Open the door please, thanks.

 

6.辛苦了。

xīn kǔ le.

 

You’ve been working very hard.

(It’s a Chinese way to say “thanks” to someone working for you.)
