On January 25th at 10:02am, the Changzhou Meterological Authority issued a code yellow snowstorm alert. It is estimated 6mm of snow will fall on the city from the evening into late night on the 25th through to the 26th. Big snow is still expected to fall on this weekend. In advance of the snow, most local schools at all levels are cancelled for today and tomorrow.
For those concerned with your flights and trains being on time, we advise you to contact the appropriate authorities and check your specific flight/train number to see if it is affected by the snow.
Again, if you can, stay indoors. As the temperature during the day reaches to just above freezing, icy road conditions are unavoidable and the Changzhou Meterological Authority just released a code yellow icy road alert at 8.10pm.
If you have to drive, please be careful. Safety will always be the first priority.
