Shanghai Jiao Tong University's announcement on the decision to withdraw graduate students

In accordance with the provisions of Article 55, paragraph 2 of the Regulations on Student Administration in General Universities (Order No. 41 of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China) and Article 45 of the Regulations on the Administration of Postgraduate Training in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) (SJTU [2019] No. 72), it was decided by a special meeting authorized by the President on December 19, 2019, that 21 postgraduate students who meet the circumstances of withdrawal should be withdrawn from the university.

Since the following students cannot be contacted, the decision to withdraw from the school is hereby notified to them. This announcement shall be deemed to have been served on the 10th day from the date of publication. The following students are requested to contact the Graduate Student Affairs Office of their respective colleges immediately upon receipt of this announcement to receive a written decision to withdraw from the school and to go through the departure procedures as stipulated.

If you disagree with the school's decision to withdraw from school, you may appeal in writing to the school's Student Grievance Handling Committee within 10 days from the date of service of this notice.
