9月1日，UM 8.0如期发布。新版本主要新增和修改的功能如下：
增加： New static and linear analysis
增加： CONTACT add-on for calculation of wheel-to-railforces
增加： 'TMEasy' tyre model for road vehicles
增加： 'Statistics' tool in graphical windows
增加： Roller test rig simulation for railwaywheelsets/bogies/vehicles
改进： Import from CAD improvements: x64 capability is addedto all converters
改进： Reliability is improved in: Autodesk Inventor,Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER PTC Creoconverter is added
改进： Railway variables in [Wizard of variables] aremodified, new tab sheets 'Rail/Wheel' and 'Railway vehicle'
改进：[Park Parallel] solver has beenmuch accelerated for [UM Train] models
