To promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, deepen the understanding of Jiangsu's economic and economic development and people's life by foreign friends, create an open social environment, and improve Jiangsu's international influence, "Portraying Jiangsu from a Different Angle" Writing Competition for Foreign Friends in Jiangsu is to be launched by Jiangsu Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Xinhua Daily Media Group as one of the series of "Focus on Wonderful Jiangsu".

为加强中外文化交流，促进在江苏外国人深入了解江苏经济社会发展情况，了解江苏百姓生活，营造开放江苏的良好社会环境，提升江苏的国际影响力，江苏省人民对外友好协会与新华报业传媒集团等单位联合主办“洋笔书江苏”——在江苏外国人征文大赛，作为“聚焦美好江苏”系列活动之一。

Participants' Qualification/参赛对象

International friends who are working, studying and living in Jiangsu

在江苏学习、工作或生活的外籍人士。

With a long-standing and well-established history and culture, Jiangsu is at the forefront of China's social change and progress, attracting friends from around the world to work, live and study here.

江苏不仅历史文化源远流长，更身处当代中国社会变革与进步的潮头，吸引着来自世界各地的朋友来江苏生活、工作、学习。

Content of Works/内容征集

We are expecting the works:

我们希望您的作品是——

Recording the stories of international friends studying, living, and fulfilling your dreams in Jiangsu;

记录在江苏学习、生活，实现自身梦想的故事；

Recording the stories of international friends working, starting businesses, and making contributions to the development of Jiangsu;

记录在江苏工作、创业，为江苏发展做贡献的故事；

Recording the stories of the friendly exchanges and deep friendship between international friends and the citizens of Jiangsu;

记录和江苏人民友好交往，建立深厚感情的故事；

Displaying the beauty of Jiangsu's economic and social development, natural landscape, people, culture, and cultural tourism, etc.

记录眼中的江苏经济社会发展、自然景观、人文风情等故事。

Requirements/作品要求

1. The theme, form and style of works are not limited. The works shall be submitted in Chinese with an English version.

参赛作品题材、形式、风格不限。投稿文字为中文，并附英文版。

* The professionals of the organizing committee shall translate the works into English if the participants are unable to translate themselves. The author shall raise no objections to the translation and give up the copyright of the translated works.

如果无法胜任英文翻译，则由组委会专业人员翻译，原作者对翻译稿不应提出异议，并放弃索求翻译后文章版权利益。

2. All works submitted shall be soft copies. There is no limit of the pieces of works submitted by each participant. The format should be MS Word with 800-2000words.

参赛者一律以电子文档投稿，每位参赛选手来稿不限，文字为word文档，字数800字-2000字。

* Please attach the author's personal information at the end of the works, including name, nationality, gender, ID type and number, employer and contact information.

文章结尾附作者姓名、国籍、性别、证件名称及号码，在江苏工作学习的单位、联系方式。

3. Participants' daily personal photos shall be attached. Pictures related to the content of the works can also be attached (The content shall not violate the relevant laws of the People's Republic of China or public orders and social customs of the Chinese nation).

投稿者在投稿同时须附个人生活照，可附与稿件内容相关的图片（内容不得违反中华人民共和国相关法律，也不得与中华民族公序良俗相违背。）

* All pictures shall be soft copies in JPG format titled "Nationality (Chinese abbreviation) + author name + number".

电子版，JPG格式，按照“国籍（中文简称）+作者姓名+序号”递交；

* An explanatory note within 30 words shall attached to each picture with the same number as its matching picture.

所有图片需另附照片说明，每张照片说明限30字以内，序号与说明须一致。

4. All entries of this competition are for public exhibition and publishing with no remuneration. All works shall be original without infringement of others' copyright.

本次大赛所有获奖作品用于公益演讲、印刷成册等，不另付稿酬。参赛作品必须为参赛者本人原创不得侵犯他人的著作权；

* The participants shall take any consequences of copyright if referring to others' pictures. The organizers shall not be responsible for any infringement of copyright. Any infringement of copyright, portrait right and reputation in the works and other legal consequences shall be borne by the participants.

如需引用他人图片，版权责任自负，本次大赛不承担任何版权责任，如参赛作品存在著作权、与作品相关的肖像权、名誉权等法律问题，均由本人承担。

All works shall be packed and sent to the mailbox of Municipal People's Associations for the Friendship with Foreign Countries in Jiangsu.

Work Selection/评选

The competition will finalize 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 15 third prizes, and several honorable mentions. The winners will receive certificate of award, bonus and work collection.

First prize (worth RMB 2000)

Honorable Mention (worth RMB 200)

The organizing committee will confer several awards of excellent organization.

一等奖5名，颁发获奖证书，奖金2000元，赠送作品集；

三等奖15名，颁发获奖证书，奖金500元，赠送作品集；
