MOST POPULAR HOLIDAYS
Ching Ming Festival

Ching Ming Festival is one of China’s largest events based off of the lunar calendar. Ching Ming officially starts 104 days after the winter solstice.
The festival usually begins on April 4th or 5th, but activities may start as early as 10 days prior.
In 2019, April 5th will be Ching Ming Festival.

The primary role of the Ching Ming Festival is to pay respect to ancestors. While many Chinese holidays are oriented around ancestor worship, Ching Ming is the largest.
Nearly every ethnic group in China celebrates Ching Ming in one way or another.

National Day

National Day in China is a holiday that has been celebrated since the Western Jin dynasty in the early 3rd century AD.

In China under imperial rule, National Day was a celebration of the Emperor’s birthday or his rise to the throne. Nowadays, National Day in China is held to celebrate the formation of the People’s Republic of China.
In 2019, Oct/1 to Oct/7 will be National Day holiday.

Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is an annual event held in China and in Chinese communities around the world.
This massive event takes place on different dates each year, but it typically begins during the beginning of February and continues until the middle of the same month.

The date changes for the Spring Festival are attributed to the fact that the holiday is based on the lunar calendar instead of the solar calendar. This is a time of the year that is characterized by happy gatherings and close family interaction.
In 2019, Feb/4 to Feb/10 will be Spring Festival holiday.

Then start early on your holiday plans and make early reservations to save money and avoid the chances of not being to get the tickets you need!
