Job description

Responsibility:


1. Delivery– Guide line management todeliver HSE policy, set the culture and manage hazards (50%)

Tasks:Guide line management to develop and ensure implementation of HSE policies,plans and practices for the [Business/Location/Unit] in line with the CompanyHSE Policy, Directives, Rules & Procedures (HSE Procedures) and incompliance with relevant regulatory requirements; together with and in supportof line management, set the safety culture and manage hazards.

Results:Established HSE management system

 

2. Improvement – Act as a change agent for continuous improvement and a role model for compliance and commitment (20%)

Tasks:Be a change agent for continuous improvement in the HSE standards, performance,capability and culture of the [Business/Location/Unit] in line with the Company programs (Safety Common Platform); along with line management, spend time on the shop floor and act as a role model for ensuring compliance with and commitment to the Company HSE Policy, Directives, Rules & Procedures,including its risk tolerance criteria.

Results:Progress towards leading level of HSE maturity

 

3. Capability– Leverage HSE expertise to support own unit and others (20%)

Tasks:Be an effective coach for the [Business/Location/Unit] by leveraging and extending its HSE knowledge through personal participation in Company expertpools for delivery of the Safety Common Platform, HSE Faculty learning  programs, auditing and/or incident investigation and/or through training activities within the [Business/Location/Unit] as well as through personal functional development.

Results:HSE capability of [Business/Location/Unit] management meets company expectation

 

4. Strategy– Contribute to the HSE strategy beyond own unit (10%)

Tasks:Contribute to the development of the HSE strategy for design, deployment and delivery of the Company HSE Policy, Directives, Rules & Procedures and Safety Common Platform for the entity at the next higher level, in order to ensure alignment of objectives and performance of the [Business/Location/Unit].

Results:Alignment of strategy with next higher level

 

5. People – Manage and develop directreports (where applicable)

Tasks:Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop employee(s) in line with HR guidelines and HSE operating model, and facilitate talent management process.

Results:Employee is engaged, deployable (quantitative and qualitative) and capable ofrealizing the ( department/team) objectives


6. Site KPI’s

Changzhou site is a One BA Performance Coatings site with a greenfield Vehicle Refinishes plant (start-up 2014) and a Powder Coatings plant currently under construction.The site is a medium Hazard site (Hazard rating 29) and employs 167 (2016 ytd) but will rapidly grow to 445 FTE at end of 2017. The total reinvestment valueof the site is 100 Meur (VR+Powder). Site is operated under one MT, one sitemanager under dominat SMU VR with one HSE team serving the whole multisite.Excellence benchmark for HSE function is 3.0 FTE. Site team consists of a siteHSE BP, a senior and a junior HSE advisor.

 


Job requirements/Candidate profile

Qualifications/education:


Bachelor,masters or doctorate level qualification in HSE or engineering or related discipline.


  Management/general skills:


-Strong strategic and conceptual skills with ability to execute and follow through;

-Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptanceof plans, activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action;

-Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards;

-Able to work in an inclusive way in the HSE community to make sure the business experiences ‘one voice’ and the teams collective objectives are met;

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, entrepreneurship, resultoriented, negotiation, problem solving, project management, business acumen;

-Very good verbal and written English language skills;

-Relevant experience in different multiple units, disciplines, locations and/orother companies;

-Broad (people) management capabilities.


  Functional skills:


Broadand specialized knowledge of the Company HSE functional role and HSE management systems and programs, as well as external benchmarks.

Job description

1.  Review project proposals or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to variousphases of the project.

2.  Allocate resources and conferwith project, service, operations, sales & finance staff to outline project schedule and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.

Basic Qualifications

  1.  Over 10 years’ professional project management experiences in secure electrical industrial or mechanical design/ implementation.

  2. Overseas project experience isrequired.

  3.  At least bachelor’s degree ofmajoring on electrical or mechanical engineering.

  4.  Good knowledge of low voltage switch gear, RMU and vacuum- circuit breaker products.

  5.  Be familiar with designing and manufacturing process of low voltage switch gear, RMU and vacuum- circuit breaker products.

  Duties and Responsibilities:


The English Writer is in charge of editing and maintaining documents of a foreign company products. As an English Writer, you will ensure that our products receive an adequate and user friendly documentation. The documents get established according to the high standards of international guidelines.

 

  • Editing and maintaining of a foreign company machine documents

  • Research work at the responsible products at the Engineering-, Service-, Technology and Costumer training departments

  • Establishing and adapting of graphics used in the documents

  • Managing of translations and proof readings

  • Publication and archiving of documents
