Heavy Rain Hit Changzhou让我们荡起双桨~

From Saturday early morning, parts of Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan and Guizhou provinces have experienced storms, with up to 140 millimeters of rain, the National Meteorological Center reported.

Changzhou Meteorological Observatory renewed its red storm alert this afternoon and  heavy rain did continue sweeping across our city and china eastern and southern regions, predicting hourly precipitation of up to 150 millimeters, or even more in some areas in Changzhou.

Traffic along several major roads in Changzhou came to a standstill in some streets today as heavy rain caused flash floods. The flood also temporarily "cut off" some traffics, causing massive jam along the road. The water rose to about half meter high in few areas. Several cars passing the underpass were trapped and submerged with water.

今天早上，暴雨袭击了安徽、江苏、浙江、江西、湖南和贵州等地，短时间内降水量达到140毫米。而之后短短8个小时，常州的暴雨预警信号更是连升四级↑↑↑！截止至下午13时45分时，常州、金坛大部分地区已经出现150毫米以上降水，直接导致部分主要交通干道遭大水淹没，引起交通拥堵。有些地方水位甚至高达半米，一些车辆被大水围困。
