
A week ago, an announcement from Chinese Custom required that all cargoes exported from India had to pass strict inspection. And we reported the related news before:

Here is another notice about quarantine inspection on cargoes from countries which have reported dengue cases!
Dengue cases emerge!

Since that, another Custom announcement has been issued, requiring that all articles from 28 countries to China which have now reported dengue cases , including:
Vehicles, containers, cargoes,
luggage, express packages
Should be subject to hygeian quarantine by Customs!
What is dengue?
Transmission of dengue virus to humans may occur after insect bites and stings, especially bites by Aedes aegypti and aedes albopictus.

Those who contract dengue show signs of the disease quickly. Early signs include fever, headache, courbature and rash. An serious infected person may also suffer from organ damage or have difficulty breathing, or even lead to death.
28 countries are included!
According to the WTO and State Hygiene Department, by June, 14th, dengue cases have been reported in 28 countries:

To prevent the spread of dengue, and ensure safety, a detailed proclamation has been issued by the Custom official:
People from the mentioned countries with symptoms such as fever, headache, arthralgia and rash should declare and be subject to quarantine inspection, including body temperature monitoring and medical check.

Vehicles, containers, cargoes, luggage and express packages from the mentioned 28 countries should be subject to quarantine inspection. And the shippers or owners of the above articles must be in cooperation with inspection. For those articles fail to meet the hygiene requirements, it is required to undergo sanitization by the Custom.

It is suggested that people who intend to go to the mentioned regions recently should pay extra attention to hygiene, avoid exposure to mosquito. Once experience the symptoms, go for immediate diagnosis and early treatment!
