About 23:00 PM，12nd August , Tianjin Binhai New Area, Ruihai International Logistics Company`s dangerous goods storage container yard exploded.
Ruihai International Logistics Company is a large dangerous cargo container transit and distribution center of Tianjing port. The explosion caused domino explosions, strong quakes could be felt miles away. Several explosions occured on spot, the second explosion was equal to 21 tons TNT.
Mang buildings nearby suffered from the shocks which made the windows&doors broken and fell. An one mile away parking lot , which was holding thousands of brand new cars, is found destroryed this morning.
Up to 8:50 AM, August 13rd, according to the news from《People`s Daily》, the explosion had caused 17 people died, and more than 400 people injuried, some rescue workers were trapped. The city government is trying evert effort to carry out the emergency treatment and rescue work , the injuried citizens have been sent to the nearby hospital,and the rescue is still going on.
Facing the disaster ,Tianjin citizens united as one. People provide their own places as temporary residence, giving away simple medicines ; many people come to the blood donor centres.Tianjin citizens help each other and overcome the current difficulties together.
Recalling September 10th, 2013,Zengbao warehouse in Guangzhou Baiyun District occurred an explosion, resulting 8 deaths on spot. The explosion cargoes were belongs to a foreign person, who left the explosive cargoes stored without taking safery management. That foreign person has been charged according to law.
