Last December, a Chinese overseas student planned to come back to Canada to continue studying after vacation, but the customs officer checked his mobile phone at the border, and then denied his entry because of finding porn videos in his wechat groups.
Well, that may sounds weird. Actually, according the later media survery, the main reason of the rejection was that the student had spent 8 years learning langague in Canada, which made the officer doubt his true purpose of overseas study. Perhaps that, combined with finding porn videos in his phone,was why this student could not enter Canada. 
But this case remind us of that:
Even though you have got the visa of destination country, that only means you are having the qualification of entering that country,but you are not 100% valid to cross the border. Because the final judgement is on the custom officers` hands, they have the absolute right to judge wheter you can enter the country or not , and judge how long you can stay, and what`s more, they can even cancel your holding visa and send you home.
Despite of some certain reasons( lacking of fund, political security), let`s see some other weird rejection reasons.
A female university student was denied of entry because of wearing revealing clothes. ( Islam is Malaysia`s main religion, muslims are conservative in clothing. )
A male model from UAE was denied of entry, because that man was too handsome , and the policemen were worried about whether the local women could resist his charm or not , so they decided to reject his entry.
Dubai: A German man was addicted to perforate on his body, and there`re total 453 holes on him,so when he planned to enter Dubai, he`s rejected.
Netherland:
Custom Officer: Hello Sir, I noticed that you are wearing an Amani coat of last year.
Traveler: Yes, I just bought it recently.
Custom Officer: But you`re wearing a fake one.
Traveler: Impossible! I bought it at the counter.
Custom Officer: No more explanation, we don`t welcome fakes, please go back.
Custom Officer: Hi, sir, are you going to fly to Australia?
Traveler: Yes.
Custom Officer: But there`re a bit cold now.
Traveler: Right, it`s in the southern hemisphere.
Custom Officer: Open your luggage. Em..Those all summer clothes, how could you bring so little cloth there?
Traveler: I can buy some when I get there.
Custom Officer: I don`t think you`re really going there. Please go back.
A Chinese traveler planned to fly to Paris from Guangzhou, but he found a discounted ticket later, which would departure from Hong Kong, so he changed the ticket and went to Hong Kong. But at the Hong Kong airport, he was informed that his visa was cancelled , because his ticket was different from his former plan`s.
A traveler`s luggage was inspected at the border, but found no swimsuit inside, so that traveler was rejected.
