Taking taxi is a good way for expats to get around Chinese cities since it's convenient and cheap. But you must have some experiences like losing bag, phone, umbrella or other items in the taxi.

Blue Taxis & Red Taxis
Two companies, Baiyun Taxi Group and Guangzhou Transportation Group, are onboard with the program. Baiyun operates light blue taxis in the city, while Guangzhou Transportation Group is in charge of the red fleet.

Complaints will be reviewed by the city's Transportation Department. There's also an option to leave a comment to the taxi company about your ride.

Call the 24-hour Hotlines
If you'd rather talk to someone , the two companies have 24-hour hotlines. Staff members will record your complain and take action if necessary and you will reportedly be notified about the results within five working days.

For red taxis, try 020-96122.
Please pay attention. No matter you report your loss/complaint via hotline or WeChat, providing the License Plate of the taxi is also important.
