As we all know, since Measures for the Examination and Approval of Permanent Residence of Aliens in China issued in 2015, channels to apply for permanent residence of aliens in China has been further opened up over China's eight innovation pilot zones.
On September 14th, the State Council published Notice about promoting reform to support innovation.
According to the Notice, in China's eight innovation pilot zones, expats are qualified to apply for permanent residence if their salaries, tax payments and work experiences meet the country’s standard based on the requirements of residence policy!
It is a good news for high-end foreign talents in China, which simultaneously reflects our government's thirsty of attracting high-calibre foreign workers.
Early 2016, Security Ministry has implemented 20 items of Exit&Entry Administrative Measures to promote Beijing Development, among which, foreign workers with doctoral degrees or above, or continuously working in Zhongguan Village Enterprises for 4 years, and have staying in China more than 6 months in a year, could apply for Chinese permanent residence.
In addition, this Notice also encourages excellent overseas students to set up enterprises in China. For those who are qualified can apply for work permit and residence permit.
