Early on December 18 last year, THE Alliance launched new shipping services which would come into effect since April in 2018. THE Alliance intends to deploy more than 250 modern ships to shipping lines including Asia-Europe, North Atlantic, Middle East, Arabian gulf and Red Sea areas.
What is THE Alliance
THE Alliance consists of shipping companies concerning Yang Ming Marine Transport, Hapag-Lloyd, “K” Line, Mitsui O.S.K Lines and Nippon Yusen Kaisha. The group aims at providing a better shipping network and meets shipping requirements of all their customers in a more efficient way.
33 lines provide direct all-round shipping services in 81 major ports all over the world, connecting regions among Asia, Northwestern Europe, Mediterranean, North America, Mexico, Central and South America, Caribbean, Indian subcontinent and Middle East.
New shipping services
There are 8 Asia-Europe lines, 3 Mediterranean Lines, 2 Middle-East lines, covering more than 19 ports in Asia, 7 ports in Middle East and Red Sea, and 3 ports in Indian subcontinent.
