A notice of new rules on Driving License has been circulating online since the Spring Festival. Actually it's new rule on Driving License which will be officially implemented next month.
After verification, it is the official notice from the Traffic Department.
Subject 1
-- “Clock in” at training course
If you have signed up for the Driving License Examination and successfully passed the Subject 1 before April 1 this year, you have no need to “clock in” at practice.
But after April 1, you should “clock in” driving training course for Subject 1(the computer test), and only after the accumulative practising hours you’ve clocked in are up to 80 hours can you make an appointment for the exam.
That means, driving training for Subject 1 is necessary from April 1, 2018.

From April 1, 2018, there will be online teaching and “clock-in practice” for theoretical learning part of the Subject 1 and 4 (the computer tests).

Each driving school must strictly enforces the new rule, according to the Traffic Department of Guandong Province.

From April 1 this year, online remote theoretical teaching of driving in Guangdong should be based on the requirements mentioned in the Training Program and Technical Specification. If fails in meeting the requirements, the driving learner will not have access to make an appointment for the driving exam.
Therefore, after April 1, remember to “clock in” at the online training course if you want to appoint for the exam of Subject 1.
