The fireworks shows will be held from 8:00 to 8:25 p.m., and live broadcast from new media organizations and TV stations.
People who intend to watch the shows can apply via the designated official WeChat accounts or apps.
GUANGZHOU
Four viewing zones will be set up on the banks in Tianhe and Haizhu to allow people to watch the fireworks from the Pearl River near Pazhou.
How to Apply?
People can apply and draw before midnight Saturday via the official WeChat account of the Guangzhou Government Administration “中国广州发布”(ZGGZFABU).
SHENZHEN
Four viewing zones will be set up at Shenzhen Bay Park to allow 80,000 people to watch the fireworks from the park.
How to Apply?
People can apply before midnight Monday via the “i深圳” app or the official WeChat account “深圳公安”(szga-110).
Children less than 1.4 meters tall will only be allowed to enter the zones if they are accompanied by their guardians. They don’t have to make reservations.
ZHUHAI
Five viewing zones will be set up on Qinglv South Rd. near the Gongbei Bay to allow people to watch the fireworks.
How to Apply?
People can apply via the official WeChat accounts “珠海公安” (Zhgaj110) and “珠海交警” (ZHJJGFWX) before the quota is used up.
Children less than 1.5 meters tall will only be allowed to enter the zones if they are accompanied by their guardians. They don’t have to make reservations.
REMINDER
Residents who have successfully made reservations are advised to arrive ahead of time to avoid crowds and peak-hour traffic.
Traffic controls will be imposed on some road sections Tuesday. Residents are reminded to keep up to date on information released by authorities.
