As we said before, Chinese provinces and cities have delcared they are postponing the resumption of business and school semesters to curb the spread of the noval coronavirus.
Many companies and public institutions resume work today or later but most of schools, colleges and universities are not allowed to start their spring semesters before March.

It is reported that all levels of schools in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Chongqing, It is reported that schools in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Chongqing, Guangdong and Anhui shall not start their semester before until the end of Feb.
Schools in Liaoning, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Sichuan and Henan will start the new semester after Feb 17.
Schools in Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Xizang and Qinghai are expected to start at the beginning of March.
Schools in other regions such as Hubei, Jilin, Tianjin, Beijing, Ningxia, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Hebei and Shaanxi have also announced the postponement of new semesters, while the opening date is not unveiled yet.
It seems that the winter holiday is extended. Many schools keep in touch with their students and provide learning materials and study suggestions, as well as psychological counseling to help them make full use of time.
The opening date of schools may be adjusted due to the epidemic situation, so please check the latest announcement issued by local educational authorities.
