China will host the 130th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, in both offline and online forms from Oct 15 to 19 in Guangzhou. HACOS will have a booth at the Fair, providing a series of business services. See you there!
COUNTDOWN TO THE FAIR
The 130th Canton Fair will be held between Oct 15 and 19 in an online and offline integrated format, with the theme of "dual circulation".
It will feature only one phase compared with three phases in previous sessions in view of the current pandemic control situation.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, there will be 60,000 online exhibition booths for 26,000 domestic and international exhibitors, and an offline exhibition area of 400,000 square meters.
16 product categories in 51 sections will be displayed and a rural vitalization zone will be designated both online and onsite to showcase featured products from these areas.

The Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, and the greatest business turnover in China.

QUARANTINE MEASURES UPDATE
In order to ensure the success of the Canton Fair, Guangzhou has tightened COVID-19 control and prevention measures which will be effective from Sept 24 to October 20.
If you are planning to come to Guangzhou, please check the latest info about the entry policies and quarantine measures in advance.
GZ has strengthened the health management of inbound travelers. From now until Oct 20, all inbound travelers whose destination is GZ are required to undergo centralized quarantine for 21 days.
Meanwhile, nucleic acid tests will be conducted on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 17th, 19th, 21st days upon arrival; a rapid transfer mechanism will be established so that all inbound travelers to GZ after completing centralized quarantine in other cities for 14 days will be transferred to the hotel for another 7-day-quarantine in a closed loop.
The original quarantine policy for inbound travelers (which is "14+7") will be restored from October 21.
By Oct 20, inbound travelers in the following situations and meeting conditions of home quarantine can be transferred to home quarantine which will last until 21 days after entry:

Have completed the centralized quarantine for 14 days but less than 21 days in GZ, or
-
After completing 14 days of centralized quarantine in other cities but less than 7 days of centralized quarantine in GZ.
For others coming (returning) to GZ
GZ has also strengthened the management and control of personnel coming (returning) to the city.
People who have traveled (returned) to GZ from medium- and high-risk areas need to undergo a 14-day centralized quarantine. Nucleic acid tests will be carried out on the 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, and 14th day. Double sampling and double check will be imposed on the 14th day.
