
East China's Fujian province is dealing with a COVID outbreak, and many cities across the country have tightened control measures. If you have recently visited the province, don't forget to check the latest updates.
CURRENT PANDEMIC SITUATION
The Chinese mainland on Monday reported 59 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, all in Fujian province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Tuesday.

Also reported were 33 new imported cases, including 14 in Yunnan, eight in Guangdong, six in Shanghai, two in Sichuan, and one each in Beijing, Fujian and Shandong.
No new suspected cases or new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on Monday, the commission said.
UPDATES ON MEASURES IN GUANGDONG
Guangdong Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued an important notice to people who have visited Putian City, Fujian Province since August 27.
The above-mentioned passengers shall report their information and cooperate with the epidemic control measures
Report to your local community (village), employer, and/or hotel, and cooperate with the local epidemic control measures. More specifically:

Inbound passengers from high-risk areas in Putian, Fujian shall go through a 14-day centralized quarantine (counting from the day of departure);

Those from medium-risk areas in Putian, Fujian shall go through a 14-day home quarantine (counting from the day of departure);

Those from other areas in Putian, Fujian shall undergo a 14-day health monitoring at home, and take two PCR tests within the first three days upon arrival in Guangdong.

If you have been to Fujian within the past 14 days, you are advised to take a PCR test to protect you and your family from COVID-19.
Key groups shall take PCR tests as soon as possible
If your health code has turned yellow, please strengthen personal protection and take a PCR test in a nearby hospital as soon as possible.
Currently, all comprehensive hospitals at level-2 or above have set up rapid testing area for yellow code holders. The detailed hospital list is available at the "COVID-19 Testing Service" section in the WeChat official account of Guangdong Health Commission's platform (粤康平台).

If your code appears to be red, please contact your local community clinic as soon as possible and cooperate with information verification and further health management.
ADJUSTED REQUIREMENTS AT BAIYUN AIRPORT
Starting from 7:30 pm on Sept 12, passengers flying to Guangzhou from Fujian province shall have their "negative PCR test report within 48 hours" (in addition to their green health code and temperature) inspected upon arrival at the Baiyun International Airport.
Flights from six airports in six cities will be specifically inspected for now. Those without a PCR test report shall take a PCR test on-site. The involved cities include:
Passengers who fail to produce "a negative PCR test report within 48 hours" shall follow the instructions and register in the "Yuehesuan (粤核酸) " mini program in advance to improve the efficiency of inspection.
Cooperate with the staff on site for information registration and testing. Please wear a mask when queuing and keep a safe distance.
