China has always cracked down on illegal and criminal acts, such as infringement, and has strictly controlled the quality of imported and exported goods. It has set up close inspections at the customs office against infringing and substandard products.
Recently, customs across China have seized a large number of infringing and unqualified goods, including imported and exported.
Changzhou Customs, a subsidiary of Nanjing Customs, seized 1 batch of substandard radio transmission equipment during the inspection of imported goods, totaling 16 sets.
The declared item of this batch of imported products is called “communication module”, but the custom officers found that the product is a micro-power short-distance radio transmission equipment. Besides, the English label does not indicate the environmentally friendly use period and the rated voltage marked with the power plug is only 125V. The product manuals do not comply with relevant regulations and standards either, which exists serious security risks.
At present, the shipment has been further disposed of as required.
