但！公司取名可不是朗朗上口、有意头就可以了！毕竟公司依法成立，还是要受相关法律管束的，公司名自然也要符合相关要求，有其可为与不可为，今天我们就来聊聊这其中禁忌。

根据相关规定，企业名称须由行政区划名称、字号、行业或者经营特点、组织形式组成，且应当使用规范汉字。
It is regulated that a company’s name shall consist of the name of administrative division, business name, industry or characteristics of business, and form of the company’s organization. Besides, the name shall use standard Chinese characters.

可能有些朋友会想，行政区划名称一定要是城市吗？可以是广东省吗？当然可以！不过要冠以省级行政区名称，如“广东瀚客商务咨询有限公司”，公司的注册资本最少要达到500万人民币。
Some may wonder, does the name of administrative area have to be a city’s name? Could it be a province, like Guangzhou? Of course it can be a province’s name. However, to be named as a provincial administrative division, such as "Guangdong HACOS Business Consulting Co., Ltd.", the company's registered capital must reach up to at least 5 million CNY.
字号应该由两个以上汉字组成，且县级以上地方行政区划名称、行业或者经营特点不得作为字号。
The business name should consist of two or more Chinese characters, and not contain the names of local administrative divisions above the county level, industry or characteristics of business.
那我不要行政区划名称行不行啊？行啊！如果你的公司注册资本不少于5000万元人民币，或者应国务院批准的，名字就可以不含企业所在地行政区划名称，不过这种的都要单独在工商总局进行名称申报。
Then is it okay not to carry an administrative division name? Surely okay if the registered capital of your company is not less than 50 million CNY, or approved by the State Council.
另外，同一公司只能有一个名字，不得与其他已登记注册、核准的同行业企业名称相同。因为名字一旦注册成功，就具有了专属使用权，是受法律保护的。另外，与注销一年内或者变更一年内的公司名称相同也是没办法注册的。不过，若不是同一行业，公司名称是可以重复注册的。

In China, there are certain words that absolutely are not allowed to appear in a company name.
第一，不得含有有损于国家、社会公共利益的内容和文字。
First, words that are detrimental to the national and social public interests
有消极或不良政治影响的。如“支那”“黑太阳”“大地主”等。
Those with negative or adverse political influence, such as "支那( an insult way of calling China)", "黑太阳(Black Sun)", "大地主(Big Landlord)" and the like.
宣扬恐怖主义、分裂主义和极端主义的。如“九一一”“东突”“占中”等。
Those that promote terrorism, separatism and extremism, such as "九一一(911)", "东突(East Turkistan)", "占中(Occupy Central)" and the like.
带有殖民文化色彩，有损民族尊严和伤害人民感情的。如“大东亚”“大和”“福尔摩萨”等。
Those with colonial culture, which are detrimental to national dignity and hurt people's feelings, such as "大东亚(Great East Asia)", "大和(Yamato)", "福尔摩萨(Formosa)" and the like.
带有种族、民族、性别等歧视倾向的。如“黑鬼”等。
Those with discriminatory tendency related to race, ethnicity, gender, etc., such as "黑鬼(niggers)".
含有封建文化糟粕、违背社会良好风尚或不尊重民族风俗习惯的。如“鬼都”“妻妾成群”等。
Those including the dross of feudal culture, violate the good social customs, or do not respect national customs, such as "鬼都(city of ghost)", "妻妾成群(groups of wives and concubines)" and the like.
涉及毒品、淫秽、色情、暴力、赌博的。如“海洛因”“推牌九”等。

第二，不得含有可能对公众造成欺骗或者误解的内容和文字。
Second, words that may deceive or mislead the public.
含有党和国家领导人、老一辈革命家、知名烈士和知名模范的姓名的。如“董存瑞”“雷锋”等。
Names of the Parties and state leaders, revolutionaries, well-known martyrs and models, such as "Dong Cunrui", "Lei Feng" and so on.
含有非法组织名称或者反动政治人物、公众熟知的反面人物的姓名的。如“法轮功”“汪精卫”“秦桧”等。
Names of illegal organizations or reactionary political figures or negative figures well-known to the public, such as "法轮功 (a cult)", "汪精卫(a traitor)", "秦桧(a disloyal official)" and so on.
含有宗教组织名称或带有显著宗教色彩的。如“基督教”“佛教”“伊斯兰教”等。
Names of religious organizations or names with a prominent religious overtone, such as "基督教(Christianity)", "佛教(Buddhism)", "伊斯兰教(Islam)" and so on.

另外，稍作提醒，现在广州市监局使用一网通企业注册系统，支持在线核名，但若超过8小时未提交申请，已核准名称就会自动失效，需要重新申请核准。
Just as a reminder, Guangzhou Bureau of Market Supervision and administration now has adopted a Netcom system for registration, which supports name verification online. But if the application is not submitted for more than 8 hours, the approved name will be automatically invalidated.
所以建议大家准备齐全注册公司所需资料之后，再申请在线核准公司名，提高注册成功率！
