苏伊士运河再次发生货轮搁浅事件！
Once again! Another ship ran aground in the Suez Canal!
苏伊士运河管理局周一（9日）表示，一艘悬挂马绍尔群岛国旗的“荣耀”号航行至苏伊士运河入口处时遭遇“机械故障”，而后搁浅, 暂时扰乱了对全球贸易至关重要的航道交通。
Suez Canal Authority, said on Monday a Marshall Islands-flagged MV Glory suffered a sudden technical failure while transiting through the canal, and then ran aground, temporarily disrupting the traffic. The authority deployed four tugboats to help refloat it.
全球运河服务公司Leth称，经苏伊士运河管理局四艘拖船的协助，在该运河上搁浅的货船“荣耀”号（M/V GLORY）已重新浮起。
Canal services firm Leth Agencies said that with the assistance of four tugs from the Suez Canal Authority, the cargo ship M/V GLORY finally had been re-floated.
Leth发布了一张图片，表明 “荣耀”号于坎塔拉附近搁浅时位于运河西岸，船头朝着南方，没有横在运河中间，减少了大拥堵的可能性。
Canal services firm Leth Agencies said the Glory ran aground near Qantara and posted a graphic that suggested the ship was against the west bank of the canal, pointed south and not wedged across the channel. This reduces the possibility of serious congestion.
据苏伊士运河管理局消息，现今运河已经恢复了正常通行，按计划有51艘船只双向通过水道，其中25艘在南行水道（可能不包括“荣耀”号），25艘在北行水道。
Normal canal operations have been restored with 51 vessels scheduled to transit the waterway both directions; including 25 in the southbound convoy (presumably not including Glory) and 25 in the northbound, the SCA reported.
根据VesselFinder和MarineTraffic的数据显示，这艘船是一艘悬挂马绍尔群岛旗帜的散货船。据负责监督乌克兰谷物出口协议执行状况的联合协调中心（Joint Coordination Centre，JCC）登记的资料显示，发生搁浅的”M/V Glory“号货轮长225米，运载6万5000多吨的玉米，12月25日离开乌克兰驶往中国。
Data from MarineTraffic.com shows the M/V Glory departed from Port of Chornomorsk in Ukraine on December 25 and is en route to China. It is reportedly carrying 65,970 metric tons of corn, according to the Istanbul-based Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) overseeing Ukraine grain exports.
此次事故并非苏伊士运河首次发生船舶搁浅事件，这已是两年以来的第3起货轮搁浅，悬挂巴拿马国旗的巨型货轮“长赐轮(Ever Given)”于2021年3月曾在苏伊士运河搁浅导致航道堵塞6天，打乱全球贸易。
The Glory wasn't the first vessel to run aground in the crucial waterway. The Panama-flagged Ever Given, a colossal container ship, crashed into a bank on a single-lane stretch of the canal in March 2021, blocking the waterway for six days.
经过拖船船队的大规模救援行动，“长赐”号最终脱困。
The Ever Given was freed in a giant salvage operation by a flotilla of tugboats.
这次事件造成苏伊士运河交通大面积拥堵，导致每天价值约90亿美元的全球贸易受阻，并使已经因新冠疫情而不堪重负的全球供应链陷入紧张。
The blockage created a massive traffic jam that held up $9 billion a day in global trade and strained supply chains already burdened by the coronavirus pandemic.
也难怪这次“荣耀”号的搁浅事故引起这么多的关注与担忧！所幸是有惊无险！
It is no wonder that the grounding of the "Glory" caused so much concern and worries! Fortunately, there was no huge loss!
